Basement flooring

Do you need a new basement flooring? My husband been wanting to have a house that have basement. He wanted that his music room be down there and it would good for tornado shelter when we needed it. One day, God willing He will give the desires of his heart. Maybe, we will start to look for good and decent price flooring.

Medical help

My hubby works in a company who offer medical help for those who cannot afford to see the physicians all the time. You can just call or send email to Doctors and nurses helpline and tell them how you feel. They will figure it out and give you answer the same as seeing the Doctor to their clinic. Or if the problem worst they will refer you to see the right Doctor.

Flood Victims

A sad news I wakes my morning yesterday.  A storm hitted Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan city.  There are many houses washed away due of flood and also there are numbers of people died.  I might say, life of individual residents are more important than their houses.   There are families that still didn't find some of their loveones.  They don't have running waters and electricity.  Don't have enough food and housing is very limited.  The evacuation center are fully loaded already.  They are cold, wet, homeless people now.

Cagayan de Oro has a big place in my heart.  I lived there for over 7 years.  I went school and work there.  I  also learned how to live on my own.  That city taught me a lot.  I grew into maturity, responsible and became who I am now.  I love CDO!  A place that nurtured me into spiritual maturity too. 

Right now, a city been shaken.  Shaken that I know in the future God will raise again.  Raise for his Glory!  A city to be a mission sending city once again.  Businesses will prosper and Christianity will grow in numbers.  This is my prayer!

How to play guitar

What a frustration I had when I started learning how to play guitar then gave up. I learned the basics already. Play a simple chords of the songs and at the end didn't continue. It was my dream to play music instrument. I thank God that He blessed me with a man who not just know how to play guitar and other instrument but he is very excellent in it. Though, I failed in my own self but that become my other half strength.  He play in our church every Sunday that make his gift even worthy and better.

Happy boy!

I amaze how my Father-in-law become crasier with our boy now a days. As his grandson grow bigger and older the more he love spending, playing with him. He can't wait to come up here or us go down where they live. Though my son could not pronounce the word correctly, but he call his Granddad "Papa" the sweetest word the grandfather can hear from his only grandbaby. I'm sure his heart melts everytime Johan would say that word.

They both like to play peek-a-boo game. The boy will go to his granddad and grab the hat and hid his face with it and say "he is" for there he is. Or the boy will open his granddad's pocket and take the inkpen, put int he mouth and put back to the shirt. They both love it---a simple game that they enjoy! The picture above shows how the boy being comfortable and happy with his granddad. I can't wait to see our son reaction when he is going to see his other grandfather (my dad) soon. I hope he will be comfortable as his granddad here.

Weight loss pills that work

The feast just about to start and I personally struggle of resisting high calories food. Is there any weight loss pills that work? I need to burn the excess fat and calories in my body. My husband always said, I have to eliminate eating carbohydrates. It will be a struggle since I work and join dinner with Filipinos. Everybody have to have their rice everyday. And, I crave for it too when I see them eating every meal that we share all together.

Adult step stools

I'm short. Everyone knows that and I used to not liking to be short but God shown me to be thankful in everything He blessed me. There are some advantages of being shorts but there are disadvantages as well. Either both ways, there are advantages and disadvantages. Since our kitchen cabinets are higher I bought me an adult step stools before we have our little boy. To make easier for me to reach stuff that place in the cabinets. Lately, my 13 month old boy realized that he can stuff so easy if he used the step tool. It was fun watching him at first but we have to think he is too little to touch the stove or swithing on and off the coffee maker. My hubby moved and folded the stool and keep in our wash room for him not to use it without our supervision.

Give thanks to the Lord

As the Plasmist says, Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name-Psalm 103:1. This week America is celebrating the "Thanksgiving" day! Where everyone cook and share food with their love ones and friends!. Is an opportuniy to look back and thanking God for everything He has done throughout the years. God been blessing America for so many years of freedom, bountiful life compare to other nations. But, freedom been abused and lead to many unworthy in the eyes of the Lord. Yes, God gave us the freedom but in every freedom we have limitations as well.

This is the first time I heard about spinal laser surgery. But, our science is getting better and better each year, it's season. There are always new development happen in our soceity all the time. If you are having problem with your spinal cord and there's possibility you are undergoing surgery try this laser one. It might be easier, faster and more efficient. Destination Manager Jobs

What is the future bring? Yesterday, my co-worker told us that the company would cut-off the double time right now. Why??? Isn't that we just had the meeting last week and they told us that we are doing great? We dunno what exactly going on maybe until we clarify to our boss today. Some of us, think to start looking for another job. As of me, I just give me trust to Lord the author and the finisher of my faith. He knows where is the best place to put me and He had the best plan in my life. This is interesting if I have a bachelor degree I might apply for Destination Manager Jobs since I love to travel and exploring new places.

Start Christmas shopping early

I told my husband that we have to start our Christmas shopping early. Aside, that it would be crowded when we do it later. He agreed it too. Hope we can get it all together. But, in the other hand, I keep thinking what should I get for my hubby this Christmas though I know he is easy to be please. I come along with this POS systems but this is not he needs or wanted for. Anyway, I still have couple weeks to think and decide what to get him. Or I would start store hopping this days too.

Trick or Treat?

Here in US they're crazy about the Halloween.  I don't get it any excitement about it.  Why??? Simply I was brought and taught to celebrate life with Jesus!  It would be kill joy to some people especially those Filipino who live now in US because they taught just for fun.  I like to dress up but not to the extent to put my Christian life away for a day just to have fun.

My Church, we have fall fest every year for kids where we have games, and giving candies for kids too.  No need to trick...just treat them with love, care and time.  Many people asked me if we took our son for trick or treat?  No.  We are not introducing him those craziest practices.  But it fun, they said.  We can have fun acknowledging the power of light.  I don't want him to enjoy the darkness rather than the light. 

I am a believer of Christ.  I should teach my son what the bible says rather than the world teaches us.  Celebrating the halloween is a pagan belief.  Celebrating Christ favor and goodness everyday the best thing he needs to learn.  We have lots of candies and put on a lot of weight and fall into the darkness pit?  Would you like to walk in the light? or in the dark?

English horse tack

How exciting to watch the horse raising. I only see this activity on tv's not in real life yet. Hopefully, one day I could go and watch it live. Do you need a new english horse tack? Sometimes some stuff is difficult to find in the store and most likely they are expensive too. Shopping online become more convenient and easier now a days especially with the busy people and hate shopping in the crowded stores.

Johan is 1!

Last Saturday, we celebrate Johan 1st birthday.  We want kinda extra special though he don't remember everything later on but at least when he sees the picture he will appreciate it.  His grandparents got him a "Ferrari car" so my hubby and I decided to make it as a theme.  My hubby designed the invitation and his banner with Ferrari logo as you can see the above picture.

We made his balloons with Ferrari colors aswell to make more realistic and good color combinations.  So the idea continue when we put to his birthday invitation that if possible wear the Ferrari colors in our theme like red, blac, white, yellow and checkered.  It turned out very beautiful.  The colors blended to each other and very lively.  The unique idea brought up together.

We have good number of guests like 30 adults and at least 20 kids.  My son had a blast!  When he openned the first gift he said I'm done!  I am ready to play with this toy.  Of course, we save the best for last.  We give him his "Ferrari car" at the end.  All his guests wanted to jump in and drive his car. 

Right now, he still loving to play with all his toys he got.  Our living room become his parking space.  We are thinking to get him his own garage later on after we purchase the survillance camera to go to his room and to our house.

Bob Strollers

It's hard to have a little baby especially when you are plan of going out. You make sure you bring baby's diaper, your purse with keys and cellphone in it. Sometimes, I made decision to just wait for my husband and the 3 of us go together. I need some seriously help. My son is half of my size and weight over 20lbs and would not be still or will not happy if you just put him and sit in the shopping cart the whole time. I could blame him. Bringing stoller is an extra baggage. Like bob strollers made the trunk full but very helpful to anyone who has a baby.

Simple Wedding Shower Invitations

Next year, my brother is getting married. I'm kinda excited for him since he is the last one who remain single in all of us. He was enjoying so much taking care his nieces and nephews. The awaited time has come he is ready to tie a knot with the woman he loves. So I am thinking to help them designing their Wedding Shower Invitations and wedding invitations too. Though wedding shower is not common in Philippines but I guess it would be great idea to plan for his future wife.

Business loans with bad credit

How can I get a loan? One of our co-worker asked me witht his question over and over. I never than this yet, I retorted. Anyway, since before I've been wanting to start my own business. My hubby told me to think what kind of business I want to put up? I told him how can I start my business if I don't know where I will get my capital. He suggested that we can get a loan. How you can get a business loans with bad credit? That's very impossible. I don't think I have a bad credit score I just started boosting my score actually.

Short yet fun!

Last tuesday morning when I woke up and checked my email a friend of mine sent me message said that they are heading to Little Rock, Arkansas. They also had planned to spent the night in the state. I was surprised, but filled with joy because after 4 years we can see each other again. It has been awhile since the last time I saw her and that was we were both in Philippines.

We kept texting back and forth and kept me updating how far they were in Little Rock. I had to work but I took off early that evening since they gonna spend the night with us. My hubby was very kind who took off early from work and entertained them while I was working. I texted them that we gonna meet up at the restaurant for lunch that day. I was in hurry so I pick the fastfood. We able to hang out like an hour before I left them with my hubby and son. My husband took them to pinnacle mountain to see the view of Little Rock. He worn them out...hehehe.

When I got home we headed to the thai restaurant. We all enjoy the food and fellowship to one another. Our son was good giving them more entertainment as well. Soon, we the family will plan a trip to see them in Virginia.

Early bird catches worm- this is the saying when I was growing up heard from the older people. Not really applicable now a days because there are company who has night shifts. I'm working in the 2nd shift that I work from afternoon-to late in the evening. We get paid more compare the day shift. Eight weeks working straight

I can't believe that I did work 8 weeks straight. From Monday- Sunday. Everyone who passed by at my machine noticed that I was there every single day. An old man cameby and asked me if did i get to go home because he sees me working there everyday. I smiled and answered him, maybe. Lol

My job is not that hard..working everyday is easy to get used to. I spent my spare time with my son alone on weekdays and on weekends to my hubby and our son. It's good to have good quality time together as family. I know it will get enough time to hang out each other but I'm working for us 3 too. My hubby been really good keeping/watching our son when he gets off work. I'm very proud of him. He love hangin' out with our little man. We do quality time when I come home at late night. We talk, share our thoughts and ideas. We also able to talk how's our days like.

This weekend, for the first time I take off work. My supervisor been so good to me. And, he really like my performance at work. My inlaws are here to celebrate my birthday since my birthday fall on week days. So blessed to have wonderful family as well. God is good all the time!

Horricane Irene

This week people been talking about the hurricane that hitted in couple states here in USA.  Thank God we were away from the coast and not affected with this storm.  I feel sorry for those lost their properties and their loveones.  We had bad storm here in Arkansas and also frighten everybody and the neighboring states.  Hopefull, this storm will be over soon.

This kind of storm remind me of our daily lives.  Sometimes we have our own storm that stike in our lives and change.  There were times that we could hardly get up and start life all over again.  But always think there's sunshine after the rain.  Whatever storm we encounter in our lives God is in the midst of it.  He is in control and the only one can restore life again.  Just hold on to His promises!

I was about to buy a new laptop for my nephew who studying in Philippines. I knew how my brother do his best to provide whatever his son needs in school but still they don't have enough. Aside from one in college there are 2 in private High School. I don't mind getting him and spending money for his laptop as long he show that he is willing to make better to his grades. So far so good. As the 1st semester is almost over he is giving us a good report. Hopefully for the next semester I could able to get him the laptop that he deserves. I am still searching of laptops on sale at the source. Sometimes, there are good deals we can find online.

When I was working in retail store I could not help it but indulge to things like dresses, purses, shoes and other stuff especially when we were having a very discounted prices. I like the ending season sale because they worth to less $1. But you have to compete with customers. Since we were not allowed to hide the stuff somewhere I told myself if that stuff still here when I receive my paycheck so that means are mine. Like michael kors watches they are more expensive in other store compare where I was working.  Either putting them in lay-away to make sure you can have them or purchase directly. 

And it rained

Last week was the hottest temperature we have here in Arkansas for this summer. It reached to 113 degrees. That was hot and very humid. I'm thankful that God is faithful and He protected us from the burning heat. My hubby was kinda sick last Friday though and he feel better after 2 days so thank God for it.

I made sure that my son continue to hydrated. He is a big water drinking so that's awesome. It helps him to fight the severe heat. Also, myself. I drink plenty of water to make me endure and fight the humidity and the heat. Besides, we choose to stay inside the house too. Better to be protected from the sunshine.

Yesterday, the rain started pouring and washed the heat away. The wind blows cool that made us feel the heat is over? Fall is coming up. The leaves is turning brown. Rain...that was wonderful. And we are expecting for more rain this week.

promise ring finger

When I undergo a mission training 7 years ago my classmate and I decided to buy a silver ring with our name on it. It's kinda a promise ring. I put mine in my right ring finger. There are some people who had promise ring finger. They make a vow for something. Later on, when I have a daughter I want her to have a promise ring to keep herself until she get married. It would be beautiful promises to make to the Lord and for ownself.

Never thought about it

Growing up in a big family with many brothers I was very protected. I was thought I was like a bird in the cage can't fly high and can't go anywhere. However, I am so grateful and thankful for all the men in my life who love me and protected me. They always told me to be away from any vices like cigar, alcohol and drugs. Besides, I have a good determination to finish school and to have a better life than what we had. Thankfully God is awesome and faithful to me. Otherwise it would be like a punch cigars in my mouth blowing anywhere at anytime. There would be a miserable lifestyle if my family letting me go in worldly directions.

Sleep good

Two weeks after my son 9 month Dr. appointment as his Dr. advised that we should let him sleep in his bed every night. That give us both confident that the boy can have a better sleep also we do. And now, I felt better to get up in the morning. I got better sleep for a long time.

I think my body not used of it anymore and I'm having changes again. I am sleepy and wanted to sleep till noon now. Johan drank his water/juice when he woke up in the middle of his sleep and go back afterwards.

So funny this morning, he woke up like 3am play in his bed like jumping, laughing, making noise but not crying so my hubby and I didn't get up to join him. When he realized that no one wanted to joined him he decided to go back to sleep. I thought that was hilarious how he did that but that's kid they always be kid. They will do funny stuff in the eyes of the adult but in the other side we will letting him know that that was funny. We are still parents not tolerating their action that later on be a pain to us.

New ipod touch

Few weeks ago, one of my co-worker wanted to buy the new ipod. I don't really desire to have one so far and that's awesome. Does anyone own a 32gb ipod touch? I'm sure you are enjoying it a lot. I know more people now a days prefer to have ipod where they can do their stuff like uploading and saving lots of music. They can also access other website.  For me, I'm happy and thankful for my laptop.  I do most everything from communication, networking and writing blogs.

Soothing Johan sleeping in his bed#2

Lastnight is better than the first night. He went to bed 8:45PM and had few cries only maybe 2-3 times and not bad as the first evening. He slept better and longer as we observe. When I came in lastnight he was snoozing...in his deep sleep. I picked in his bed and I feel like picking him up and put in ours but I resisted.

My hubby feel the same too. When Johan was making a sleepy noise he told me I want to grab him and put him in the bed with us. No! I said. We are going back to step 1 again if we do that. It seems that the strategy that his Dr. given to us is very effective than what we read from other website.

You have to know your child and let your child know that you are still his parents. We were not saying that we really acting like the boss but showing him our comfort and love. Assuring him that we love him so much and we are always there for him. His nap time also are better. Right now, he is in his own bed trying to ease and soothing himself to take his nap. I didn't heard any cries only his little whining voice. He is getting better and better.

Religious gifts and baby gifts

Last year, one of my baby shower someone gave me a religious gifts and baby gifts. It's a cross that can be hang on the baby's door or anywhere in his room. My hubby and I like it a lot. We want our son to know who is Christ is and who he is to Him! I'm so glad that there's a christian place here in Little Rock where we can find awesome religious stuff. From books and to religious wording shirts.

Rv repairs shop

I didn't know if there's a special place where you can get your rv repairs? I am sure like cars shop there are some places who deal with Rv's problem. As I've known with one of our relatives who own an Rv he is the one who fix any problem of their Rv. He is really good about in any cars I'm sure he got the idea on dealing the Rv's problem. They use their Rv anywhere they travel and they like it cause they're bringing their whole house with them.

Soothing Johan to sleep

What's up? Why you won't go back to sleep in your own bed. You were doing so good for so many weeks. What happen? I kept asking this question to my infant when we put him in his bed at night and then he want to sleep with us. When he don't feel good I understand that he needs comfort from mommy and daddy. But it has been difficult for me and him. For me, because I kept thinking hope he will not crawl out of the bed while me and his daddy are sleeping.

Couple times I woke up and look for him he was on the other end of the bed. That scare me and keep telling my husband we need to put him in his crib. But 'twas hard because he cried to the top of his lungs. I'm so glad we live in our own house so neighbor could not hear baby's cry at night.

Yesterday, was his Dr. appointment and blessed to hear that his Dr. told me that he is perfectly healthy. No problem about feeding him and weaning him in the bottle since he drink from cp cup sometimes and that's our goal that he will not use his bottle when he turns one. I don't want to be like parents letting their children drinking milk in the bottle even they are 2 years old and beyond.

Anyway, soothing him to sleep in his own bed was hard for the first night but I would say we did it successfully. I would be thankful for hubby for doing it consistently lastnight. When I got home Johan heard me and wanting me to compromise but instead held him and calm him down. Assuring him that we love him so much. After few minutes he is ready to sleep and slowly put him down in his bed and he sleep good and I got some good sleep too. Hopefully we are going to be successful of doing this.

Metal buildings

I don't know if you guys see on tv some of the unique building built around the country. That include energy efficient houses. One time me and husband family were watching the show about energy efficient building and there are houses that built half in the ground. They can save energy for cooling during summer and heating for winter. This is what my hubby dream for. Anyway, we know that metal buildings is really good when there's tornado especially if this is gonna be underground.

Tactical rifle scopes

I remembered when I was in Highschool that we have CAT or citizen army training. We have tactical inspection at the end of the schoolyear. That was mix emotion. Fun and in pain too. I remembered one of the training that was held in our campus for a week. And, we had some test on how to resolve mission. Thrilled and excitement but always there's a winning team at the end. I don't remember if we use tactical rifle scopes. Or just know the exact term as we had rifles.

Night coughs

My son Johan had been coughing lastnight. I felt so sorry for him because I knew how it feels when cough disturb you in your deep sleep. He don't cry or show annoyed anyway but as a mom I felt his pain. I am blessed that God bless us a wonderful son who are not into crying all the time. As long mom or dad is around him he feel secure and safe. When he is not feeling well he wants to sleep in our bed with us.

I don't want him to be a habit but to make us got some sleep all night we just let him. He is been sleeping good in his own bed for many weeks already so that's one blessing too. He moves a lot so that once reason that I don't want him to be in with us. He occupy a big space and I am afraid that he will fall in the bed too which happen twice already.

Anyway, he will feel any better today and tonight. Hope the cough be over!

The new plasma tvs

Recently, we notice a new and huge flat screen tv in our breakroom. One time the manager asked us if there's anyone watch on that tv screen? I said yes during our breakroon since we had no choice. The shown to us what is Molex is all about. Having a big plasma tvs in other area of workplace make us to take off from the wall and take it home. That's our joke to each other.

RedEnvelope

What's in RedEnvelope? Isn't one of the special day is coming up this weekend? How important is your dad to you? This will be very important for my hubby since he is now a daddy and his first father's day celebration. I plan to take him to the restaurant tomorrow lunch time or dinner time. It will vary if I am going to work this weekend. He deserves the best. I know he will not ask anything but just me and the boy. So dining out- I believe he will love it.

Summer colds

I don't have good sleep for 2 nights now. Our son was uncomfortable and don't feel good. That's the reason it didn't gave me a goodnight sleep for 2 nights now. The first night he was not running any fever but he could not sleep in his bed. He wants us to take him in our bed. I don't really like the idea of him sleeping in our bed since he move a lot and sleeping like a clock.

But if that one thing that make get some rest and the rest of us we do it anyway. Lastnight was better and tough night. My hubby and I kept waking up cause he was running fever to 101 degrees. Poor little man I understand and know his feeling being sick and miserable. He got stuffy nose too so that make it worse. We kept giving him some medicine to lower down the fever and also for the stuffy nose that will help him to breath. So far he is getting better. He still kinda weak though and don't want to move around. Hopefully he will be feel better after his nap.

Unique nurse costume

Is it fall season already? I think is too early to think and look for any crazy, funny and even sexy nurse costume. Every year, we celebrate harvest day in our church for the kids. We are allow to wear costume that would give color and to make the celebration more fun. Of course, no scary costume. I remember few years ago, my hubby and I dressed up like MIB, and hawaiian. Those are fun and easy to prepare. We only found our costumes in our closet.

Any management jobs

I stopped schooling before I had my son last year but I am still hoping and looking forward to go back pretty soon. It's a matter of timing and financing. Sometimes, my friends and I are talking about if we gonna stay in our job for a long time. I believe God will put me anywhere and in His time can tell how long I'm gonna be. There are so many management jobs that offers around but of course I am not qualified yet. Maybe in the future when I finish my degree here in US it will given chance.

Industrial Job

Yes, I am employed to an industrial work 3 months ago and it's very different from my other previous jobs.  I like it that I can gained a new experienced in different field.  Many times, I asked myself- Am gonna be in this business forever??? Well, it doesn't mean I don't like my job.  I do! Infact, I learn and enchanced my new skills.  Can you believe that anywhere and everywhere I can employ now since I've been to many different businesses company.

What I do in the industrial plant?  Well, basically we make parts to any gadgets you got in your house now.  One of the part  I made is for HP company.  I had no idea which part of their gadgets those for but I'm thankful to know that I made something very worth it to a lot of people now.  It's not that hard and tiring job.  But, there are times we put more than and effort...we want to make our clients happya and our boss extra joy.  They gave job in both parties. 

Yesterday, my lead told me that they are working on my machine to able to run 27/7 a week.  Wow...that means it opens opportunity for me to work more overtimes on weekends and give me money.  This is the only machine that would run 2 pairs now.  I could not believe but have to because as of now they are working on it.  It might be ready next week so here I go!  I am looking forward to take off more weekends when my son turns 1 that we can do a lot of stuff together as family.  And I am looking forward that they gonna hire part-time person to run my machine when I'm gone too.

Sleepless nite???

Why I am still awake? Can't beleive how tired I was at work today when I got home I am wide awake. What's wrong with me??? I have no choice but take a shower at 3am, listening to audio bible and now writing this blog. Better to do something or let's say accomplish something while I'm up and my brain is functioning well.

I'm praying that I can fall asleep very soon since I needed some sleep to empower myself to work later. I need seriously rest. A better rest that make my brain and other parts of my body function really well. My son slept tight when I came home tonight so is my hubby. Hoping I can be snoozing and snores as what my boys do. Hate this sleepness nite.

Whew! I don't do heavy workout but my son give me workout. His getting heavier and very active. My body hurt the next day...can't complain he won't understand me yet. First mother's day celebration

Focially mommy! I joined the million mommies all over the world celebrating the mother's day yesterday. My hubby and son took me to outback steakhouse last Saturday since I don't to be with so many crowd. I had to work but I really enjoy my first year celebrating mother's day. My hubby gave me mother's locket and I am very happy. He also put our son's picture.

I had thought my hubby would gave me that precious stuff on my very special day. He suprised me and amazed me how simple thought touched my heart. Flood

When I get off work lastnight the rain was pouring hard. That made almost can't see the road. Everyone drove slow and did extra careful. I was determined to go home so I keep going and going despite with the severe thunderstorm. I was singing and praising God. That way, I didn't put room to nervous and fear. Need to be cacalm down and relax and focus on driving. I made home kinda late as what I expected but glad to be home safe and sound.

Also, good thing, I learned couple of road options in case something happen. When I reached the interstate lastnight I felt so much better because it set on high ground. It became even better when I reach the area that had no rain. But, I did couple of re-route due to the high water on the street. The policemen were guarding the unsafe road to make sure no one could took it. I am blessed to be home in safe and sound. Glory to God!

I read the news today and learned that there are lots of people were affected by the flood and there's one died cause the car was washed by the water.   I pray that everything gonna be alright tonight.  That we can't experience again what we had lastnight.

New shower curtains

We were at the store the other day and I saw shower curtains for sale. I was thinking that my son's bathroom need a new one but I change my mind. We had so many expenses in the last 2 months. Aside from the new car we are still paying some of our medical bills. Whew!!! This is life. We work hard and continue paying the unending bills. My hubby and I hoping that we will finish paying them so soon. That's one reason that I grab every overtime days and it helps!

Bad thunderstorms

Our weather this week is kinda crazy. We gonna have thunderstorm most of the days of this week. It started lastnight. My parents-in-law were here and we grilled out yesterday for easter weekend and for their 42nd anniversary. I am not tired to say it again..I am blessed! God blessed me with wonderful family here. Though I am many miles away from home He give me comfort and love.

Supposedly, today FIL had Dr. appointment but due to the weather they decided to cancell and move some other time. They were afraid to get stuck on the road on the way home. I understand I don't want that to happen with me too. As of now, the weather just look fine. The rain had stopped and the sun came out. Soon, it will start the storm again. Please pray for us for safety. I'm working and came home late in the evening. Hopefully the weather calm down as soon as we get off work tonight.

All things is possible and accesible now. Like taking classes online is very known now a days. Can you imagine finishing bsn online? I have some friend taking nursing classes online. How that can be possible? How they do their practice at home? Maybe their instructor are giving them homework and lab experiment at home? Upholstery fabric

Sometimes, its difficult to shop for fabric that you want to. Like when we were preparing my son's bedroom we could not get the decor or beddings that we want. So we look online and look for upholstery fabric that would fit to our plan. I'm so glad that my mom-in-law know how to sew. And, she did a good job sewing my son's beddings. Also, our friend gave us another blanket and it's beautiful! There so many ideas we can get online and it's not difficult to try.

Time of teething?

My son been teething for a long time. We saw the white stuff in his gum but it didn't come through yet. What's wrong? Why it takes a long time before his teeth actually show up. He is in pain right now and give him fever. He just want to bite our fingers and anything in his hands.

Two nights, I didn't get a good night sleep since he is deeply in pain. He was whining a lot. Of course, being a mommy I could not ignore. I came home late from work but I do my best to do my duty as mommy to my son and wife to my husband. Balancing my time..sometimes is difficult!

I can't wait to get over in these stage. I want his teeth to come through so soon that it will be relieve for him and us. We don't to see him crying because of pain. We can't help but to make sure to make him comfortable as we can. I thank God for his joy that keep me going. For the joy of the Lord is my strength!

Cutting tools

Oh what spring bring for you? I saw my plants outside and they needed to trim. I don't know where's my cutting tools yet. Lol, I told my husband that we need to do some cleaning before our son start to crawl. Our mini pool is waiting for us to clean and set up and enjoy the water with the little man. This gonna be exciting for us since we have a little person at home. Can't wait to hear my son to tell us what he wants to do. Or seeing him helping us do something-that would be fun!

Ipad accessories

Last Christmas most of my co-worker in my previous job they were buying ipad accessories as christmas presents for their family who have an ipad. What's in ipad why is so in demand? Maybe I am just getting old and didn't care much about most of the technology right now. I am happy I have something I needed the most. I am very low maintenance person, lol. Anyway, my hubby suggested before that I need to get me an ipad that I can use while working on weekends but I refused. I heard too many music while working weekends. I didn't know where to listen anyway. No need to competent with them.

Sleepy head

This week is one of tiring week for me. I want to get more sleep but can't. What's up with me folks! I had to sing really, really lound when I drive otherwise I fall asleep while the car is in motion. I have to do extra careful not to get a ticket again.

At work, there are times at I keep yawning and yawning. I have to avoid not to yawn infront of my supervisor and our lead. I do my best to perform my duty the best as always. Thank God I manage everything good so far.

This morning I tried to get some more exercise while pushing the stroller. My son liked our stroll and I had a great time with him too. He was fascinated with his sorroundings. He was looking around and just amused everything that he saw. What a beautiful creation he wondered. With the time we spent outside was so amazing. I'm so glad I have so much time to spend with him though I work all the time. Hope tonight when I get off this article I can have a good, good night sleep.

Human growth Hormones

Oh, what a hormone. Sometimes I would say that women hormone are crazy. Would you agree??? Hehehe. Anyway, in this new generation most of the kids grow taller. Especially with our new family generation. I've seen that my nieces and nephew had no problem with their heights. They didn't even take a human growth hormone supplements. He needs disability insurance

My friend husband is on leave right now because he has diagnosed with traumatic stress. He had experienced in the past that keep coming to his mind. The Doctor advised him to take off for now until he said he can work again. But, he is thinking to take a disability this early since he always feel the pain on in his back. Where he work they had good benifits and even good disability insurance. I'm sure they can live with it.

My new car

This is the model of my car except it's silver.  I started driving my new honda accord car yesterday.  I can't imagine how I like driving a honda.  I was tickled when hubby texted me 2 nights ago while I was at work.  He said he can take home the car the next day.  Of course, I was anxious to drive for the first time.

As he promised, he took home the car with him the next day after he and his co-worker processed all the papers and we handed them the check.  I was surprised how smooth the driving was lastnight going to work.  I can handle it very well since it was my first time driving the Honda.  I feel more comfortable with my driving.  Your driving skill more be enhance it depends of what car you are driving.  Thank God for his provision.  He made all things beautiful in His time.  This is a blessing from him.  Glad we have some income tax return from last year.  That we don't have to worry the car loan payment every month. 

Advertising flags

How ads affected the individuals? Most of the business around the world become successful because of their creativity in making their individual ads. And because their product is in need and very in demand now a days. How about advertising flags? Of course, this could be catchy to the eyes whoever sees it. I remember that passing some houses who has flags hang on their walls I can't help it but looking at them. Make it colorful that everyone has no excuse not to see it.

Overtime for 2nd week

Last weekend was my first overtime in my new job. I like to work on weekends though I could not stay all day long to keep my little man but I am thankful to my inlaws and hubby who did their best to take care of him. I have 90 days probation at work and I want them to see me I am interested of what I am doing.

Lastnight, my supervisor asked me again. "Do you want to work this weekend"? Not a mandatory yet and I said yes. Actually, he scared me because my concentration was on the job I was working on and I didn't know he was coming to my direction. He said, sorry anyway. I am sleeping in with my boy in the morning so that I will not get so tired to the rest of the week. Everyday, should be a new day.

I've known some people at work been working 4 months without anyday break. Yeah, not easy without any breat at all but I am looking to the brighter side. I'm gonna have a chunky pay check every end of the week. So thankful I get a new car. Thank the Lord for his joy and his strength.

Pool cues

One of my facebook friend is the queen of pools. She can play all day long and beat everyone. Her billiards buddies call her the billiars queen. She is very nice person and she met friends all over the world through playing pools. I guess she is good looking on pool cues before hitting the balls. She always win. I knew she had the spirit to fight and win every game she played but pool is one of her best game. 

I haven't play with her yet cause I know I'm gonna lose before the game started.  I used to play this pool games online with my hubby and it stopped and diverted to other games anyway.  My hubby and I are looking forward to have our own pool table in the future.  That would be nice!

Point of care carts

We have carts at work to use to move our stuff. So amazing how to lessen our load and make good transport so easy. On the first time I tried to push I had a problem and then my co-worker taught me to unlocked. There the point of care carts to make sure it will not move while putting your stuff on top. And, make sure all our product be in place and safe. We can't affort to bend all the pins and redo the job. We all busy and make sure taking care all the orders.

Low Fever

Not me but my boy is. He is running fever for couple days already. We give him baby medicine and it works but keep coming back. He is not active as he used to these days. We are thinking maybe because of his sprouting teeth, new changes in the house. I work longer hours now than used to.

I have to drop him off to my friend's house for 3 hours then his daddy will come and pick him up. They slept before I get off and sometimes they woke up and waited for me. I like my job right now...and I would not deny I missed my babies when I was at work.

One thing that keep me going and think while I was working everyday "I'm doing it all" to my babies. Doing it all for our future. We don't have enough to spoil ourselves once in awhile. Besides, I like to make money too. It's a way out for me to be stuck in the house. And, I'm sure my son will understand that in the future. We are doing this for all of us. For his future too!

Surprise Party

Yesterday, we surprised one of our dear friend for her birthday. I told our other friends if they are willing to give her a surprise party. Simple but thoughts what matter most. We decided to take our lunches to her house. And yes, we forgot about our diet. The good diet supplements is what we need. We ate vegetables and chicken so we avoid the red meat. Talking about desserts, there we gain bunch of calories with all the sweets that we ate. We glad to see our friend was happy about his birthday!

Health issue for women

We, asian women our concern is to gain so much weight especially us who are health concious. Do I need to take diet pills to lose weight? Well, there are so many natural ways to lose weight. Exercise and balance diet is really healthy and good for us. I used to exercise during my pregnancy but not I have many sleepless nights and I am caught up with the laziness too. My world is making circle with my son. He is my priority and need an attention.

When I went to visit my OBgyn doctor I watched tv on the waiting area. I always saw the triple A commerical. Do you need a quicker roadside assistance? Triple A are always there. Wherever you are, whatever time. I was kinda convinced with their ads and when I came home I told my husband about it and he said it's very nice but they are expensive. If I really want it we can have it. He is right, the monthly membership is very high. Yes, the service is good. Maybe someday when we can afford to pay more bills.

My boys

Like father like son. My son is growing and becoming like his daddy's shadow. My husband said his son look like him more and more and he grow. He even like his daddy's expression. He is fascinated with electronics and paying attention on what his daddy's doing. He likes phone, laptop and wires.

He also, like wathing his daddy playing games on his phone and watching his daddy's favorite music artist. I'm happy for that. I want him to make his daddy a rule model. He is not just a good daddy but he is a good role model person. And, they both like to hang out each other. Just laid back and relax...running some errands, talking to each other and playing. Hope as our boy grow older he will be a God-fearing little man and a good boy.  I know the training starts at home and we do our best to give him that best training.

My baby boy is 4 months old now and I asked his doctor if this is the time to start giving him cereal. She said, yes...just cereal because this could not cause him to be allergic to food. So we did tried. He start liking it but he had a BM problem. Me and his daddy were worried about it. He is too little to supper. He tried, and he kept pooting but nothing happen. So we decided to stop for now and tried again in few more months. Because there's only month and half when he turn 6 months old. Maybe he will be fine. Our backyard is barren. I mean when they started constructed our house they cut all the trees back there. So now, my hubby and I want to plant some trees back there to give us shade during summer. But my husband concern are leaves when the fall season come. So he wants to plant evergreen trees. I think he has the point but I want a tree that will change color through the season. How about this crape myrtle trees? I think this is beautiful with the bunch of flowers. But how about allergies? That's something to think about too. I don't my family to keep sneezing when the weather change.

I started a new job

Tuesday, was my first day of work at my new job. Everybody are asking me...so far so good! There are so many things, skills that I need to learn with this new job. I am assigned on the station 447 as an inspector. We are inspecting any gadgets out of our machine to make sure is not dent, same size and case is fine. It's not a hard job and it's not too easy as well. The challenge is you have to pay attention and you need to have a good eyesights.

They gave me 90 days probation. Through this months they will put me in one area to another for find where's my strenght. I am competative and I want to learn everything they teach me. A good listener and obedient is one of the key to learn really fast. I do my best to be a good co-worker and employee with this company. Because this company is big and been here for a long time. They don't care if you leave them, but I need them. They pay good and they will give me the best training.

Women Vitamins

And, he looks good! All of our friends noticed that my hubby would not wear any jeans. Infact, his one and only jeans he finally gave away to the charity. He prefer to wear slacks and long/short sleves shirts. He would not wear t-shirt at all but sometimes I force him to wear anyway especially when he put on his shorts.

I kept asking him why he will not wear jeans at all. He said it's not comfortable and heavy. He has the point but very unusual for a person without pair of Jeans at all. I could not blame him he got the point. I suggested him that I might find a non-heavy jeans that he could wear. He is willing to try too. Hope I can find pair in coogi clothing. I heard this is one of a fine brand.

Looking good

This is my son, Johan.  He just turned 4 months old on the 11th of February.   Ain't he look good?  Lol.  For us, he is the apple of our eyes. This suit was given to him by my father-in-law's first cousin.  They went to Branson last summer and they thought it would be perfect for our son.   I'm so glad I spotted this before it's too late.   Just perfect size for him right now though it said on the tag 6-9 months.  Or I would say, my son is a big boy as his age.

I love looking on this picture.  He is sharp dresser.  He knows how to dressed up? At least! hehehe.  My hubby is grateful that whoever give Johan an outfit they knew our taste-hehehe.  I'm looking forward for the next size of  this formal outfit. I'm sure he will look good again.

Friday Payday

With my job right now, friday is our payday. We don't have chance to have payday advances because the company not allow us to do that. Anyway, I have no problem with that. I make sure my hubby and I spend our money wisely. We make sure all our bills are paid off, we have food, gas for our both cars. Basic needs are very important to be meet. When we have extras so we spoil ourselves sometimes like eating in the restaurant and shopping.

Last Saturday, when we had the Valentine's dance in our church our friends ask me if how much it cost to buy a digital camera. They are old folks so they don't know about latest technology that much this day. So, I told them it depends to the brand. Mine was a gift from my in laws 2 years ago so was not cost that much for me. I haven't search or own fuji cameras so I guess this might be a good option brand too. I heard fuji's brand for a long time and they are still in businees so that means they are also quality brand.

Weighing scales

I weigh once in a while after giving birth. Yeah, I lost some of my weight that I gained during my pregnancy but still I am not back to my normal weight. I am not worried about that much cause I know how to lose those weight if I want to. My concern is to lose the extra belly that I have. One of my friend said, the hardest part of having C-Section is losing the pochy in the belly. I was wondering why I could not lose mine yet though all my bottom clothes fit me at all. I stood in the weighing scales the other day and the excess weight is not bad at all. I just need to snow on my carbohydrates and I'm back to normal weight pretty soon.

Lastest about my boy

I am very impatient person that's why God always deal me in this area. Few weeks ago, I was suspecting that my son start teething. He drools really bad, bite, fussy and irritated. That's not my normal boy. He is happy and charm.

My mother-in-law got him orajel to helped ease the pain in his gums. Also, he don't like to bite his teether but he preferred to grabbed our fingers and stick to his mouth. So I told my hubby that I read an article that is also good that he suck our fingers and we have the opportunity to massage his gums. We just want to make sure newly wash and clean before letting the boy to put in his mouth.

After 2 nights of not sleeping good I checked his gum and I felt the shapness. Woohoo!!! Here comes the tooth baby! This is the sign that his tooth is close to show. He is not toothless anymore. I have to be ready when I feed him I will experience biting??? Oh yeah...this the pain of doing the breastfeeding. But on the other hand, this is our great bonding to each other. He is close to me and I feel how my son loves me as well as I loved him. Anyway, I just can't wait to see his actual tooth!

No need for Personal loans

My hubby's car was overheated the other day and thankfully the problem is not major. His car was ran out of water that cause of the overheating. Though we have to pay for car check up again. I'm so thankful that the problem is not too serious. We don't need to do personal loans to pay another bills. For that, I thank the Lord for all his abounding blessings!

Samsung is one of the famous brand for electronics now a days. I have a friend that her husband bought her a new flat screen tv for pre-Valentine's pressent this year. She was so excited because her husband choose the one that she like. Not only that, she also received a brand new camera. I'm so happy for her that she is blessed to have a wonderful husband who provide her needs and also give what she want.

My father in law is a hunter. Actually his clas are all hunters. Surprisingly my hubby had no passion to be in the woods. But my hubby have his own gun. His daddy bought him couple of them and he took here in our house. We can use as our defense in case there's someone brave to break-in in our house. It's almost similar to eotech 512. Powerful and can be harmful too. Soon, when my son is big enough and can handle guns my hubby want him to know how to hold the gun and use them properly.

My baby is teething

Johan is 3 and half months now and he starting teething. How we know??? Actually the first time we don't know. But he was fussy, irritable, drooling a lot. He wants to put his both hands inside his mouth. He even want our finger in his mouth and bite them. So we research to find out what are the symtoms of teething baby. Now, I am looking for good ab workouts. Any suggestions? My belly is still a little fluffy from pregnancy. It's so weird after the baby came out from my belly it was fluffy. Actually, it's better now than 3 months ago on the first week I had Johan. I waited this far and thinking to start working out. I will focus on my abs. I want to flatten this abs before summer that I could wear my swimsuit and I will look good too. I will look for easy abs workout.

Start to work out

I woke up feel good today and I was thinking to put my son in the stroller and push him around the neighborhood. But, just the weather didn't work to my plan. The road is wet. I think last night was raining. So we are stuck inside the house right now. And, what's in my mind??? Food! I may need a best diet pills for women when I finish breastfeeding my son in the near future. I don't look heavy as other said but I thought I gain so much.

Work Schedule change

Today is my first day to work in the evening. As what I said in my previous post that Becky had a baby last Thursday. She was the one who kept Johan while me and his daddy are at work. So I asked my boss if they will change my schedule instead. I am so glad they work for me. They said I am one of their good worker so they give me priveledge to work in the schedule that is convenient for me.

Kinda fun not to get up too early morning today and I am hoping that it would not a struggle to leave work late afternoon today also. My hubby will meet me on my workplace to pick up our son. Then, he's gonna keep him until I came home. It would be easy for him cause he just need to feed him and put him to bed. Johan is a good baby. As long he is clean, full he just go to bed quick.

So, I would say, this is it.  Life just began to change...thank you Lord for your sustaining grace!

One of my filipina friend and I met again for the 2nd time here in Arkansas. She and her family traveled from Missouri to trade in her old car. She said they looked and searched anywhere and they find the car they like and in affordable price here in North Little Rock, Arkansas. We dined in in one of the closest restaurant and we chitchat for awhile.

She told me that she is thinking of going back to school so soon. I know education is very important and sometimes you need to go back to school for you to get the job you want. Waiting for a new car

My hubby and I been talking that we need a new car. Our cars still running okay but sometimes hubby is having problem with his car. It's hard when one of our car broke down. Here in Arkansas car is neccesity. I know that when we have a new car our insurance will change. Hopefully we can find a very cheap car insurance quotes for both of our cars. Right now, we are still looking, praying and hoping to find a better deal about new car.  When God allow we want to have a car that is more spacious to our growing family and stuff when we go out of town.

This how we look like last August.  This picute was taken on the wedding day of our Pastor only daughter.  Becky is our Pastor daughter-in-law.  We both pregnant in this picture, can you tell?  I was 2 months away to have Johan at the time and she was 5 months away.   Hope we can get a chance to take our new picture together soon.  We both have our babies now.  They both boys too. 

For seven weeks Becky kept Johan when I was working in the morning.  My hubby dropped him off around 8am and I come to pick him up after 12 noon.  She enjoyed watching him and she said we have a good baby.  Her other older kids loved our boy too.  Anyway, last Friday morning Becky had her 4th child C-Section.  This is her 3rd son by the way.  I am not sure what his final name yet since they have a hard time picking one.  Nice to go back in fun memories!

Food delivery

I have several friends who work in the food delivery service. They said, they pack, deliver prepared food to anywhere. Call them and have your order ready soon. They said is a good paying job. I'm sure they cater delicious food too. Once there are more people wants to buy their product that means they cater good. Anyway, since I was trying and hoping I can get a good paying I asked them if they are hiring again. I'm not rushing things up now I learned not to rush anything right now. The more I am eager stuff happen quick the more I get frustrated. So learned my lesson and I am hoping for the best. If God open door for me in food delivery company it would be great or anywhere else.

A business website builder

I am thinking to make my own online business. I started researching and figuring stuff out by myself and I talk to my hubby about it. He said was very interesting and he want me to learn some more. He is willing to help me to build my website in case I needed one. And, I found the site that easy for me to work on I mean putting my stuff in there, updating and changing. This business website builder is very helpful to their users. It seems like what I need in my propose online business was set up properly. What I need is to be patient, work hard and build my self confidence. Yes, I am afraid and I dunno what to do and where to start now.

Johan First Snow

Finnally the snow came for the first this year. Do I like them? I'm alright! This year I was not too excited having a snow maybe because my temperature change after having a baby? Winter is not fun for me this year. I am so ready for warmer weather-at least spring. I get tired of this below degress temperature. Sounds like complaining? Lol. Sorry, I am trying to be thankful though.

Anyway, the snow that we had this week is the first snow of my son. He don't about all of those yet but we took him outside and take picture. Memories is more important. He don't know how fun to play in snow, making snow balls, snow angels, sledding yet later on he and I gonna have some fun. Yeah! This is the only snow so far that came that I had no nerve get out and play. I usually do everything even all by myself. That's okay, when my son grow a little bigger we make sure we gonna have some fun again with him.

Birthstone jewelry sept

What's the birthstone jewelry sept? I mean, what is the exact color of my birthstone? Two years ago, my mother-in-law got me a bracelet and it says, September birtstone and it's blue stone. I wished I've know my real birthstone cause I love to have jewelry of them. Lately, I began to like wearing jewelries. I don't care if they are expensive or cheap as long they are accessories that will look good on me. I look forward when I go home and visit my family in Philippines I could buy me an inexpensive but good quality jewelries.

It look like USB drive

Working in the retail store I saw people drammatically. On Christmas week there's a woman who came to shop at the store and when she's about to grab her key inside her purse she could not find them. She was crying and don't know what to do. Of course who would not freakin' if you lost your Mercedez key. We helped her to find inside the store but we failed. She described that the key it look like the usb drives. That's not easy to find. If she dropped inside the store there's possibility that slide under the shelves. Oh well, she called her husband and they hired the tow truck to tow her car. That's the safest option for them to make sure no one will take their car when someone found the key.

What happens in 2010 stay in 2010

What happens in 2010 stay in 2010??? Lol. I just copied from the movie this line "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". Anyway, as I look back to the year 2010 it always remind me how God tremendous poured his blessings to me and my husband. Our great joy to have our first born last year. Was a stepped of faith when we said yes...it's about time to start the family. Indeed, God is awesome he gave us the perfect son that he created in His own image.

Johan brought joy to our family. I am amazed how it changed to my life presfective as a mother. Also, I saw my husband changed so much the way he care the child. I can't believe that he will go crazy of him now. He is a very good daddy more than others can think of him. He love spending time with him and care if his home and I am at work or partying with friends sometimes.

Of course, my inlaws are nuts of him. He is a only grandbaby in hubby's family so you know how does it goes. They spoil him with their love and care. My hubby and I are blessed to have a wonderful family who supported us in all aspects of our lives. We are also blessed to have awesome Christian family friends around to share our passion as new parents.

This 2011 I am expecting for God's another faithfulness, fruitfullness, blessed, properous year in my life and my family. I speak financial blessings also that we can visit our family in Philippines so soon. I can't wait to see my family over there and introduce Johan to them.
