As I was reading this devotional this morning, I sighed and think the songs" This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice! Make everyday fruitful and productive. Let the name of the Lord be glorify every single day. Everything happen each day, God has a plan for it.

Lunch at Shorty Small's

The name refers to me? Lol, that was the name of a restaurant. I think one of favorite restaurant here in Little Rock. They serve good and they have a good services. Last Monday, hubby took me to his office to work for awhile. It was memorial day and it was holiday but he wants to finish up something-so he took that we can eat lunch together that day. Besides, that was our wedding anniversary on Arkansas' wedding.

We ordered the menu of the day, it was rib-eyed steak, potatoe fries, biscuit and never missed the shrimp. Yummy! We had vegetables salad with Italian dressing. That sounds healthy food-isn't it? Lol. Haaay, I'm crazy about steak already.

Merle Norman Product

Last week, when my sister-in-law came back from Souteash Arkansas she handed me a bag of beauty products. She had one of the same product so she gave me this one. It has a variety of cosmetics in the bag like: lipstick, sunblock tanning lotion, eyecolor, regular lotion and hand lotion. Merle Norman is a good product though.

Huey Lewis

For almost decade Huey Lewis came back here in Arkansas. He is one of the phenomenal rockstar. And, I love his musics already. It was my first time to watch a live concert with my hubby.

It was a plan a month ago that we will not miss that concert. Our friend Dan made that plan and invited everybody to join the party. You know "the more we get to together, the happier are we". Yea, we had a little party at the balcony of Boscos bar. Four couple were there and we all enjoyed the concert and the food. But not the price of the food, lol.

We were kinda away from the stage but it was alright we brought a vernacular. Hehehe! So we can see Huey Lewis better. The excitement part of the concert when they sang Akapela. The harmony of their voices that made cool. I wish they will come back again the next Riverfest.

Last week, there's anonymous who leave a commnents in my other blog. I was so surprise with the long comments. As what I understand to his/her comments he was telling his faith. Which too opposite of what I believe in. I believe that my God, created the heaven and the earth. He was born, died and buried. After 3 days he was ressurected and He reign forever! He is the coming king.

I will suggests to "The Anonymous Commentor" when he pass this way again to create his own blog to write what he wants to. I am not against to any commentor but I think it wasn't formal to leave very long comments like imposting what they believed in a very long article. Tuesday Toot

Today is Tuesday that means it's time for Tuesday Toot! Our weekend was so busy, my parents-in-law were here and we went to see the movie. Hubby and I were so thankful that we took time going to the movie theather again. We watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull . Our Wedding Anniversaries

Yes, hubby and I celebrated our 2 wedding anniversaries. Yesterday we were celebrating our 2 years anniversary since we got married in Bangkok, Thailand.

We thank the Lord for his unending mercy, grace and for blessings our relationship as husband and wife. He alone deserves all glory and praise!

Today, we also celebrating our 1st US wedding anniversary. We decided to have a wedding ceremony here last year for family and friends to participate in our special occasion. Besides, we needed our marriage certificate for me to avail his company health insurance. His health insurance policy said, he should process his spouse (me) insurance a month after we got married and he missed that last 2006. Anyway, we had fun for our 3rd wedding too. The family took care the wedding preparation included the newspaper announcement. The special about that wedding, we received most of our stuff for our house today,lol.

Hubby and I had lunch at Shorty Small's today since the Indian restaurant are close this memorial day. Too bad, only once in awhile I'll be around in Little Rock and I missed the Indian restaurant. I will cook my Indian dish soon! I haven't use the Indian Spices that ate Janet sent to me.

Riverfest

Tonight , Arkansas is having the riverfest. Riverfest is Arkansas' largest and most popular music, arts and food festival. The event is held annually over Memorial Day weekend in Julius Breckling Riverfront Park & the vibrant River Market District in Little Rock and the North Shore Riverwalk in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Riverfest 2008 is going to be "FUN IN YOUR FACE!" Whew!

My husband and his friends been waiting for this event. I forgot the name of the band that they really want to see, but they said it's phenomenal rockstar. This is my first time to attend this kind of event here hope I have a great time. Or, I may be enjoy the food over there,lol. smile:-)

Graduation Party

Early this month my hubby and I received various graduation invitation from the young people in our church. I was wondered why they were giving those invitation to many people. Lol, We attended graduation day of my friend last year but we're very close friend as I understand.

Anyway, last weekend one of the Youth graduated already from high school. We didn't attended her graduation because her school is far away in where live. Besides, their graduation was during the evening but we attended her party that they held at the church. I was thrilled when I saw their decoration inside at the lounge area. Her theme is Hollywood since she is passionated in movie making and going to take that course in college. Her Aunt flew from California to attend and give her that wonderful party. It was beautiful and they were giving door prices like IPOD Nano and more.

American Idol Season 7 Finale

Tonight is the American Idol Season 7 Finale and David Cook won the competition. He sings very well, through the season. He is one who always got a positive complement from the judges. Though lastnight his performance wasn't that good compare from previous weeks but it didn't stop him of winning. With 12 thousand votes he beat the other David. To close the show tonight, David Cook sang the American Idol Season 7 winning song , It's my time. Congratulation DAVID COOK!

PBB Island Adventure

This week, the tv reality show of ABS-CBN Pinoy Big Brother Teens edition plus edition has having an Island adventures. Anyway, there are 8 teens left inside of big brother house but only four was given a chance to go and do the island adventures in Puerto Princesa. Of course big brother is with them. Too many speculations why only 4 brought to the island, well we will find out the reason as big brother always says "Sa Takdang Panahon" or you will find out in the right time.

Lastweek, the teens undergo some military training and techniques on how to survive and how to live in the Island from the professional military trainors. They flew from Domestic airport Manila to Puerto Princesa, they were blind folded. Then, they rode the private helicopter going to the Island. Whew! Isn't that fun? I enjoyed watching those 4 teens who are chosen because they have all have unique characteristic. Which is very important in team working. Whew! I'm always excited to watch this show everyday now!

God is Righteous

God is righteous. His decrees are righteous (Rom. 1:32). His judgment is righteous (Rom. 2:5). His requirements are righteous (Rom. 8:4). His acts are righteous (Dan. 9:16). Daniel declared, “Our God is right in everything he does” (Dan. 9:14).
God is never wrong. He has never rendered a wrong decision, experienced the wrong attitude, taken the wrong path, said the wrong thing, or acted the wrong way. No matter we say, God is righteous. He allow all circumstances happen in our life for a reason. He intented for our own good.

The Dragon Skin

I knew of most of you are excited to watch the coming Narnia Movie on theater as I do. It was based on the book written by the famous C.S Lewis. C.S Lewis is a brilliant book author.

Receiving God’s gift of salvation through Christ is a one-time event, but to become like Him often requires suffering and struggle. It involves putting off old sinful habits and replacing them with new godly ones. Paul wrote, “Put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt . . . [and] put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4:22-24).

What is troubling you today? God may be using the kind rebuke of a friend or a painful trial to prompt you to get rid of a sinful habit and to replace it with godly character (Rom. 8:29; 1 Peter 4:1-2).

Need your Prayes

Mr. Bo Vance is our family friends and very ill at this moment. I only met his wife, since my Mom-in-law and Ms. Weaverland work together. Please read the latest update of Mr. Bo and do remember to pray for him. Your prayers are meant so much.

He is in the Mayo Clinic at St.Mary's hospital in Rochester MN. The hospital called Waverland this morning and told her that he had took a turn for the worse and was bleeding from the rectum. He is in ICU now. Waverland had just driven home from there yesterday. She is on her way back by plane - since it is near Chicago, she will probably have an all day trip.

He went to Mayo last monday the 5th and was to have tests run all week to see if there was anything more that could be done for him. He had tests on Monday and then on Tuesday, they discovered that he had an infection on one of his fingers. They put him in the hospital and started trying to find out what kind of infection it was - they determined that he had 2 forms of staph, but that it had not gotten into his heart yet. They started him on strong iv antibotics and decided that he had not gotten rid of the first staph infection when he was in the hospital a few weeks ago - at that time they took his port out(he received nutrition through itsince his colon doesn't absorb anything) and waited a few days before they put it back in - they determined that he must have gotten the second form of staph when the port was put back in at Little Rock.

Him having both forms of staph was what was pulling him down and not letting his TPN and medications work.

They removed his port again and left it out for a couple days then put another one back in Wednesday- the plan was for them to start him back on his TPN and get him built back enough to come home in a couple weeks. Waverland stayed until she saw that he was doing ok then she started home - she wanted to be home for Clay's graduation tomorrow night - it took her 2 days because of the weather Wednesday night.

My left eye hurt

My left eye hurts everytime I cried. I tried not to cry but I can't help it, I was bored,lol. Yes, I cried when I get bored, hurt, pain, scared, or anything that happen. I feel ease after I cried. Lastnight when I was crying, I noticed my left eye hurt everytime my tears fell. I dind't know why! I think it would be a sign that I will stop crying at all. Hahahaha! Whan an emotion, ma drama!

Productive Week

Yes, we had a very productive weekend, I'm so glad we only had few plans last Saturday, since it was my hubby's birthday. Besides, the night before we stayed up late to go to see the movie "Iron Man". Grandma was game too! Hehehe, she was stayed awake the whole time at the movie theather, that means the movie we watched was very nice. The next morning only Mom and Lisa woke up early and went to run some errands while all of us stayed in bed until they called us at 9am.

They picked up some groceries for my hubby's birthday party. Since I knew Mom was out that morning I harassed my husband to get up too, lol. I cooked our breakfast and we waited for Mom and Lisa to come home and pick us up to go shopping. Promise I didn't buy anything for myself, but Mom did.hehehe! When we got back from shopping we started grilling the steaks and cooked the side dishes for our meal. We were glad we decided to stay at home and cook, because we saved money since we didn't go to a restaurant.

When everybody was full, we all wanted a workout,lol. We came up with the idea to pick up rocks and put them on the perimeter of our landscaping. Mom saw the mess in our garage and cleaned it. Dad helped Mom by lifting the heavy stuff to store in the attic, while Lisa and Grandma helped me to pick up the rocks for the landscaping. We had a great time working together. My hubby had left for his music practice that afternoon already. When he came home that night I told him that he could now park his car in our garage. He was amused at how organized our garage was.ha! He called Mom thanked her for the wonderful birthday gift she gave him. When we moved last year, our Spanish pastor needed some space for some of their stuff, because they didn't have room at their apartment at that time. Finally, the garage looks much, much better. We are very thankful for our family, especially Mom, who did a great job in our garage. Thank you!
