He's so good all the time!

I'm rejoicing for my God is so good. Last Friday, I met up with my sis-in-law's friend from her church who own the Wing-stop. It was not my first choice job because I was waiting for another job to hire me since I got couple friend who work in that store and were telling me that their manager said he's gonna hire me. I waited for 2 weeks but I heard nothing. I called last week but the manager said he need to look my application when he had the time. I was kinda frustrated about his answer so I called the operations manager of Wing-Stop and made appointment. Sure do, when I got there he entertained and give me application and wanted me to report this week. Last night, was my 2nd day training and because of so many costumers I learned to use the cash registry and to handle the phone order. Yay! I learned fast through pressures??? Lol.

Yesterday, while I was about to take my nap my phone rang. To my surprised it was the overall manager of the department store. She quoted " I heard that you are working right now with other company, do you still have time to work with us?". Comeby tomorrow and see me for an interview. If this is the will of God I will receive the peace of God in my heart and mind. For my God is so good! Yep, I'm going to meet the manager in couple hours. I will not expect anything but only God will guide me in making decisions.

Web site hosting

Finally for over a year and half my husband and his friend have finished there jazz demo CD. I don't know why it took that long to finish, but they both made sure they sounded good. I am happy about how passionate my husband is about his music and he has my full support. But, there were times, that I was jealous of him putting so many hours working on his music. But my hubby made up the time the best he could to spend time with me too. I'm grateful of all his effort.

It was last week that they finally burned their songs onto the CD. Of course, I listened over and over again to it almost everyday. I was excited and happy for my husband and for his friend. By the way, my husband plays lead guitar and his friend plays the drums. They recorded on the computer the bass guitar sounds, piano and other instruments sounds to play along with them. Isn't that great??? Right now, they are slowly building their band's website where they can post all their information, and how to reach them if there's somebody out there that may want to hire them to play. They are willing to play on any occasion such as weddings, debut, reunions, etc. Anyway, if you are looking for best web site hosting company check out the www.webhostinggeeks.com. They will lead you to many trustworthy web hosting sites where you will get the utmost service.

Return as a Pirates-lol

The exciting about this activity was we staff, leaders put on our pirates costumes. We also have our pirates name. Mine, I searched and asked my friends to suggests me a pirates name until I need up doing the "What is your pirates name quiz on facebook". The result was "Sneaky loo". I was wondering what to wear too. Yesterday, my hubby and I decided to go to the Party City store to check what they got. Guess what I found, a costumes that fit me, perfect for my name and in cheap price. So I got it.

My hubby got him a pirate hat and he wore his leather black jacket to go along with it. Indeed, it turns really good and everybody says a good complements to us.

Our Fine Neighborhood

This morning I kept sneaking outside seeing our neighbor accross the street packing and putting their boxes full of stuff inside the big cargo truck. Are they moving again? Because they work in the Airforce so maybe they are assign to another locations. Sad to see them go. We only had acquintance but still we gonna miss them.
Anyway, while I'm busy messing around our doorbell rang. 'twas our friend Dan. He was checking on us (me and Emma) because he saw police cars, tv reporters, fire truck and other stuff use to rescue for something emergency. I had no clue. It was a fine, sunny day. It was a usual day for me. He said he don't know if there's any serious crime going on inside our subdivision or someone were only filming. He left my house and in few minutes he called me and told me what he found out. He asked the Police and the Police said; they found 2 bodies dead in one of the house. For some reason, as the police stated maybe the mother of 7 years old killed her daughter and after kill herself. That was very, very sad. This is the first crime happen in our neighborhood. Considered as one of the finest neighborhood in the city. Whew! Only the Spirit of the Lord can give us peace of mind and safety. I pray that God will protect us here all the time.

Our recent trip to Branson

Many people have been talking how nice it is to go and spend a vacation to Branson, Mo. I never thought I would ever go and see Branson after writing a review a few months ago. Last April, our family decided to book us a condo for a week in Branson. I was thrilled because I finally would get to go and visit this fantastic place. Yes, Branson is one of the most beautiful cities I've been to here in America. There are so many things to do there. The condo that we were living was in the city yet was peaceful, quiet and perfect for people who want to unwind and relax. Just in our resort itself there were so many things to do. My hubby and I went and did some canoeing in the lake and played some arcade games inside the activity center. It was fun!

Anyway, we went down to see the Branson Landing. This is one of the attractions of the city. It was very beautiful during the day or in the evening. There are so many stores so you can enjoy shopping at some new and old favorite stores. There are restaurants in case you get a hunger pang while hopping around at the Landing. There are so many shows all over the city with all at your fingertips. If you are crazy about rides, Silver Dollar City is very famous in Branson. Our family is looking forward to go and visit Branson in the future again. Hope we can stay in the middle of the city which is accesable to all the attractions; or we might going to stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. I've been there it is a big and nice hotel very close to the Landing. Also, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is located in the center of the city too. Thinking about going to Branson for a holiday? Consider staying at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing.

In the midst of busyness

I'm busy everyday doing the house chores, babysitting, studying, bunch of homeworks and farming. You hear me I said "Farming". I'm talking about the games on facebook. I am hooked for 2 months already I guess. I'm almost at the end...My goal is to reach the mansion. Who don't like to own the mansion? Everybody does but not everyone can afford including myself. So, even in the games I can have one, lol. I told my hubby that I will take a leave working on his farm these days and consetrate to mine until I'll get the mansion. I am very, very close. Perhaps, only one level left but I need more exp to finally achieve my goal.

In these game, you can plow and plant your field yet you can hire someone to harvest them. Or you can work to other field to earn more coins. Coins is use to purchase all the equipments and supplies needed for your farm. To make more coins, you can visit your neighbor farms (water their dry fields, pulling the weeds and cleaning the mess). The computer will tell you exactly to do and you just click yes or no. Now, that flowers are available it's another way to make more coins by watering them. Not your own flowers but your neighbor flowers. Neighbors they are your facebook friend who play the same game with you. Too many people get addicted in this game and I could not blame them-it's absolute fun and neat game ever!

Best Web Hosts (2009)

Has our economy gotten any better these days? I hope so...I've seen so many companies that are closing out, but there are new companies that are just starting. For so many months I haven't made good money; I believe that we bloggers are some of the most affected by the recession. I'm so thankful that my husband has a stable job that we can pay off all our bills every month. Thank God Almighty for that!!! My prayer is that the people who lost their jobs could find a place to work again. This is a season and will not be the this way forever. As long as we live there's a hope.

Anyway, do you own a small business? It is now necessary for every small or big company to have their own website. Most of the people get more information through the internet resources than anywhere. It doesn't matter how much you pay for your web site hosting. There are cheap web hosting services that help their costumers businesses to be successful. What benefits will you receive by having your own website? A lot! You can draw more customers from all over the country and other parts of the world. Check out Web Hosting GEEKs for cheap professional web hosting services under $10 a month; all webhosting plans include at least one free domain name registration and 30 day money back guarantee. They have so many listed web hosting companies who have been reviewed by their own clients. For more information visit wwww.webhostinggeeks.com

Well, anyway so glad to write here again as promise I posted more pictures we took on our vacation. There are so many things to do in Branson, Mo. We had the chance to visit the first Basspro shop in the country at Springfield, Mo. shown the picture on the left side. They said this Basspro shop is the great, great, great Daddy of all their shops. It's huge inside and beautiful. The are restaurants and Starbucks coffee shop inside.

I'm back!

The vacation week is over. Last Thursday we left Branson, Mo. Though our stay in condo end up last Friday we decided to left home ahead since my hubby was hosting a men's night out that Friday evening. It was a tremendous experienced for me and for whole family and our closes friend's family.

Since we rented our Aunt and Uncle condo we made most of our food especially in the morning. I love to cook for everybody I don't know why. They loved my cooking too so that works, lol. Almost everyday we were busy. Of course, you paid all your expenses to travel so take all opportunity to see all the attractions and shop sometimes. Branson has so much to offer.

I wrote couple of review about Branson Landing here. It's more beautiful than what I thought it was. There's a  huge difference going there in the day, in the evening and late at night. The beauty, the scenery of the place amused us. Talking about food, there are plenty of restaurant anywhere in the city. You all have your choices from steak to seafoods. You ask about entertainment? A lot! There are shows everywhere. They offer discounts anywhere, everywhere at anytime. My hubby and did a lot of fun from canoe, swimming, movies, food trip, shopping, wine tasting and etc.  I'll tell you more next time.

note: I don't know why I could not put more pictures here.

On Vacation

We are now in Branson, Mo since friday. This is my first trip here and I got all the excitements. We rented a condo for a week. In our resorts itself there are so much to do. Yesterday, my hubby and I did the canoe. That was fun. While we were in the middle of the lake I was thinking it would be fun to jump off and swim like some of the kids. I did it anyway without any hesitation. When I was out of the boat I kept thinking what if there's a snake swimming on the lake? Lol. It would not be possible since there's many trees sorrounded the lake.

After eating our lunch we headed out to Branson Landing. The heart of Branson city. Everything was there...food, shopping and fun. When we came home enough to soaked in the hot bubbling tub and relax. Then going to bed. So glad I made to connect on the internet right now.

Kris Allen won the American Idol' 09

As what I've said in my other blog post last week I only voted Kris A. for some reason. I've seen him improving each week and gave surprises in his performances. Besides he came from Arkansas, lol. My sister-in-law were voting so hard last night.

So many people were touch by Kris inspiring music. There's something in him that people love and I'm one of them. Yes, it's absolutely a happy evening to all Kris fans who supported him from the beginning of the competition. An awesome evening to Arkansan'.

Final test tomorrow!!!!

One more day and my class for spring semester is over. Tomorrow we are having our final tests. Actually, I have one test left since I took my other final last week. I'm ready to get off from school and do some fun. I thank the Lord for his strength and grace are sufficient for me all through the semester. Without him I can't do nothing. I had been out of school for so many years, I guess you what is that mean. It's like I started all over again. Kinda tough and scary in the first 2 weeks and only God's strength who strengthen me. Not my might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God.

I am the only Asian in class and never felt I am different from them. We all helping each other and shared thoughts. I'm sure I'm gonna miss my classmates and hopefully I can see some of them this summer class. I'm going to check my schedule tomorrow so far I've seen one subjects available for me on campus and I plan to take some online. How fun that would be? I have no idea, but I talk to several students who take their classes online and they said it's fun and fantastic since they are not bounded to go to school. They can do their homework anytime and just take time studying their lesson. Hmmmm...I'm thinking to start taking classes online now. What do you think?

Mother's day!

Happy Mother's day to all Mommies especially for my Mother. I'm so grateful how she raised me and taught me of so many wonderful things. She nurtured me to fear God above all and she love me unconditionally. She's not perfect mom but she's one of the best Mom in the world.

I also thanking the Lord for giving me a wonderful mother-in-law who dearly love me like her own daughter. She's amazing mother for my husband and my sister-in-law and wonderful wife to my father-in-law for 40 years. To all my friends who are Mommies, happy, happy mother's day. You all are great Moms to your children.

Happy birthday, baby!

My old man turned another year older, lol. My hubby always told me he is my old man. It has been awhile since he had a birthday party and I thought it would be great to have one this year; to invite our friends and family to come over in our house. I asked him if he is okay to have a party at home and he said yes.  A month ago, I started thinking what should I do his birthday.  I asked some of our friends if they are available on Lance birthday and they said yes.  So the birthday plan started there.

Okay, my hubby knew that we are celebrating his birthday at home with friends...but he don't know the whole concept of his birthday party.  He didn't know who are coming to his party, I sneaked on him.  I verbally invited our church friend and sent email to his parents about the idea of having a semi-surprised party for him on his birthday itself.  Everybody agreed!

Our friends volunteered to bring some food. My hubby asked me if I can make his 3 favorite Asian dishes (Chinese, Korean bbq, and Lumpia (Spring rolls) ). When I woke up yesterday I started cooking and I quitted when I prepare myself going to church.  When we came home I went back cooking again until our guests start coming at 3pm. Our kitchen was full of foods, we both have heavy and light foods and desserts.  They are all yummy.   After our early dinner, Lisa, Mom and I brought the cake out from Lisa's room.  My hubby didn't have idea what cake we had for him.  Yep, Lisa and I thought it would be funny to get him a transformer cake.  The kids wanted to blow the candle with him, they were excited to see the transformer mask on top of the cake.

After  eating the cake and ice cream, it's time to open cards and gifts.  Our friend Francis gave him a shirt that has print in front that says "Who is your daddy?".  We all laughed, when he flipped the back the whole message was written there -God is the father of all.  About time to open the cards, what is a card without money, isn't it?  My hubby never thought about that from other people who gave him card except from our family because we knew they gave some money on our birthday.

The last card he opened was from everybody.  I provided the card for everybody to signed in as requested by his bestfriend Danny.  Danny knew what Lance want to get.  He has been looking this stuff for a year he said...but just too expensive and his wife would not lend him some money-that's me, lol.  Danny was talking to Lance on the phone and suddenly thought it would be great idea if all our friends who love Lance will contribute some money to get him a guitar pickups.  Oh yeah, another guitar stuff.  That was great idea...everybody like Dan's idea.  Our goal is to reach at least $300.   After opening all the presents and card and counted all the money the total amount reached over $400.  Whew!  Everybody was happy and very excited and said "we met our goal".  My hubby was surprised and very happy too.  He could not wait, while everybody were enjoying the party and food he got his laptop and order the stuff.  Until lastnight we were both overwhelmed with his 34th birthday party.  We are so blessed to have a wonderful  family and church family around us.  God is very faithful to our lives!

SeaWorld's newest attraction, Manta, is opening this May!

What's your plan for this summer? I have 3 weeks left in school this semester and I am looking forward to 2 weeks of break before my summer semester classes begin. My hubby and I are off to vacation in Branson, Mo for a week with our family. Isn't that exciting? Oh yes, it is! I've been wanting for this trip for a long time. Praise God for His provisions! Because of our current unstable economy many families hold off going out of town on trips. I can't blame them because there are so many people losing their jobs now. There are numbers of businesses that have been closed too. What next??? Only God knows...right.

Looking for something fun this summer with your entire family. Your kids will love this if you take them to Seaworld in Orlando. SeaWorld's newest attraction, Manta, is opening this May!!! The only flying roller coaster of its kind in the world. It’s an adventure only SeaWorld could create. Whew, it makes me so excited since we are thinking about going to Orlando in the future. I'm sure we will enjoy it too, my husband LOVES rollercoasters. From the start, Manta provides a glimpse into the incredible underwater worlds of tropical fish and rays -- many seldom seen. Floor-to-ceiling aquariums showcase rare leafy sea dragons and thousands of schooling fish. Your kids get a unique 360-degree underwater view by climbing into a pop-up aquarium. What a fantastic destination to see. SeaWorld is having a contest where you could win a "Front-of-the-line" pass to Manta at SeaWorld Orlando. This may be your chance to win. Take your kids and explore the beautiful creatures under the sea. This summer is the best time, this summer is your chance!

Not in the mood

Yesterday, I was whining, lol. My hubby and I always teased each other being whiner. Nothing is wrong with that as long not giving burden to each other. He knows he can whine to me and I can whine to him too. That's how relationship work "give and take". Anyway, we planned after church to go to the store to buy groceries but I was kinda tired and didn't like going somewhere. He said, I made a list on what we needed that he can go in and out to the store. He wanted to make it easy and organized. His sister whined too so he picked up groceries for her at the same time.

Oh yeah, he's good shopper he came home after 30 minutes full handed. He bought everything that written on the lists and pick fresh fruits and vegetables. I was proud of him, hehehe. I like the grapes that he bought from the store yesterday...it was the black grapes; very fresh and delicious. I give him complement on what he did yesterday- He is awesome husband!

Chicago Cosmetic Dentist

When was the last time you visited your dentist; for me it was about 2 years ago. My hubby and I always say that "we need to go to the dentist soon". The soon hasn't come yet. We've planned this for over a year, but the right time has not come yet. We are always occupied with our work and busyness. I hope we take seriously this plan and do it very, very soon. We are still fine at the moment, we don't feel any tooth aches or anything that bothers us. As the Doctor always advises for healthy teeth and to avoid decay, see your Dentist twice a year. Hmmm...!

Have you heard of Mitchell Dental Spa? Sounds new? This was the first time I've heard about this and it made me curious. I searched online and found that this spa is unlike other cosmetic dental offices which are only spas or salons in name. The Mitchell Dental Spa is a full-service facility offering dentistry along with massage, facials and skin rejuvenation. Huh? Not only that, when you make your dental appointment, a complimentary 10 minute spa treatment is included. Clients can choose anything from a back massage to a lip hydration treatment. And 30-90 minute spa treatments are also available. This is incredibly awesome! I can not wait to see my Dentist. I hope there's a Dental spa available here in Little Rock, Arkansas. If you are close to Chicago, check out the chicago cosmetic dentist.

I invited myself

Last Saturday, when I got off from school I was thinking to eat some barbeque. Because my hubby and I were both busy that afternoon we agreed that we will go to the store and pick buy meat in the evening and that I can make my own bbq. While we were at the store that evening we called my MIL to asked how to cook bbq. Hmmm, okay I know how now. She gave me very simple procedure but taste sooo good.

Before my hubby left going to church yesterday morning he smelled the aroma of bbq and wanted to tasted. I fixed him a plate and so delicious that's all he said. It tasted really good, I was very proud of myself, lol. After our church service his bestfriend asked him if we are going to grill. He said, no Mimi made it to bbq. Oh man, can I invite myself to eat lunch in your house? I like Mimi's cooking. So my hubby said you are welcome. When Dan saw me running around in the church he warned me that he did invited himself to ate lunch with us in our house. I was thinking it wouldn't not fair to the wife if I wouldn't invited her. Suddenly, I saw Monica and asked her if she was coming to the house too. She simply replied, Can I invite myself too, Mimi? You are welcome! We headed to the house and enjoy the bbq, watched the 1,000 places to see before you die movie. It was a fine, good, relax weekend after all. Glory to God!

Aloha!

Lastnight, was one of the special night for Awana kids. We had our spring fling activity with "Hawaiian" theme. It was really, really fun...we had so many games for the kids to enjoy, prizes and food. My hubby and I were incharged in sack race game. At first, we thought we were in the boring game but it became excitement when kids start racing over and over again and beating each other. Indeed, it became one of the best game ever as the kids said.

I was so thankful that my sister sent me some of the summer dresses from Philippines last December and I wore one last night. Obviously, I was the only one who wear Hawaiian outfit...and they said I won for the best costume, lol. Nah, they didn't gave me the prize; we are just having fun. It was successful, tiring and fulfilling night after all.

Oh, my baby!

Well, we are now thinking to start the family any time soon. Does the economy affects to our plan? Of course, yes! But my hubby and I are grateful to know that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19). We worked very hard so we could to pay off all our credit cards. And, thank God, we finally are debt free! Being debt free is a very good way to help weather the fluctuations of our economy. Another way is to avoid serious illnesses, because medical costs are so expensive. There is a company called C'elle that can help in the medical arena. It is Cryo-cell, one of the largest and most established family cord blood banks that operate under the industry’s highest levels of quality certifications and accreditations. This is a really great opportunity to help you ensure your loved ones can fight many sicknesses. This is a great gift to share even with your friends too. Check out the Cryo-cell and see their pricing. This product is a Limited Time Offer only!.

Weekend Recap

I started my weekend going to school since I have class every Saturday. Then, my hubby picked me up and we headed to Arkansas City for the family gatherings. We were kinda late but we made it to see everybody there. We were surprised to see so many people at my parents-in-law yard. They have big, spacious yard and perfect for big family affair but almost filled up. Our cousins made it! At the same time we were celebrating our other Grandma 84th birthday. It was 8pm when we left and we arrived home at 10pm. Oh yeah, we were all worn out.

Yesterday, we went back to Arkansas City again after church for another side of family get together. It rained so hard but we kept going anyway...We saw several wrecked in the side of the road and thought of going back home but, we were all thinking and wanting to spend time with our family yesterday. We made it there safe and sound. Praise the Lord! When we about to leave Arkansas City the rain start pouring out again... we barely see the road but again, we are determined to go home. And, we are so thankful to made home safe and sound! Then I start the fire in our fireplace and play some games before going to bed.

Smell's good!

Hmmmm! I smell the Ham aroma in the oven right now. Today, I prepared 2 Asian dish for our family gathering tomorrow. I have class from morning to noon tomorrow so only today is the chance to make prepare for it. . I already said yes to our family to bring "Koren B-b-q and Lumpia". So, I decided to prepare today. Kinda tiring but worth also. I study and finish my homework today and play at "Farm's town" the game on facebook. Really neat game...both me and hubby love to play with it.

Custom Stamps

Isn't it so exciting that it's Easter again? I'm excited and looking forward to our family gathering this weekend. Yep! We're going to be busy. We have a family gathering for both of my hubby's parents’ families and we plan to go to both parties. On Saturday, we are going to celebrate the 84th birthday of our Grandma (Mom’s mother). How will you celebrate your Easter weekend?
One of my bonding activies with my in-laws here is making cards. We usually hang out at night making cards and sharing ideas. Anyway, I am learning from them...I guess I don't have the gift in creativity. I remember when I was younger, I hated it when we had art class; my brain just isn’t wired that way. I didn't know what to do. I thought my life would become miserable if art class was the only class left in the world. I did some other stuff like making jewelry, but still I don't consider myself creative. What do you think? I believe I am just unique. Lol. I am unique in my own way. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law found some cool stuff for us to use on our card making. One of these is the custom stamps that says "good day" and happy birthday. I am not use where they got those but if you want something like that; you can get it now at Vistaprint. They make high-quality, custom made stamps that help you save time.
They can create it in just minutes. You can choose black, red or blue ink in unlimited uses for business or home. You can order your custom stamps at a very, very, low price. To make it more exciting, you can create your own designs. I highly recommended this stuff for business purposes too! If your company needs custom stamps, visit Vistaprint.com and see their prices.

Holy Week

This week, all nations celebrated the Holy week. To remember what God has done in our life. He died for all our sins. He redeemed us by his blood. This is one of the biggest event for Filipino families in Philippines. Most of them got a 4-5 days holiday where often celebrated with their family and friends. Christian churches have a remarkable celebration as well. I remember when I was home, we often celebrated with different churches in the city. We have the "Seven Saying". The coolest thing, reminded us the pain, sacrifice of our Saviour on the cross for us.

A winner everday in April!

-1

We used to have cable tv when I got here two years ago, but I suggested to my hubby to cut it off since we didn't use it. We only watched TV every now and again, but we paid for it every month. We were on a tight budget at that time so making the decision to cut off the cable TV was rather easy. Honestly, I only watched American Idol once a week because on Wednesday we had activities in our Church. And, we watch the weather every now and then, but today weather updates are accesible online. I am not saying that we really don't want to have cable tv again...of course we do in the future. My hubby love to watch "How It's Made" and "Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs" show.

I was surprised when I read this, "A winner everday in April!" Huh? Is that true? Yes, it's true! HD programming continues to grow in popularity and Charter Communications is trying to meet that demand – offering customers who order services at Charter.com a chance to win a 22” flat screen HDTV every day throughout April. This contest is open to new and upgrading customers. Oh, how exciting that could be. The contest is found on the easy-to-use website, http://www.charter.com/. Not only that, Charter is also offering an opportunity to win a grand prize package that includes a 52” LCD flat screen HDTV, a Home Theater System, and one year of free Charter Digital Cable® service with HD programming. Join now and you may be the lucky one!

Beautiful Sunshine

Isn't that weird that the weather temperature goes up and down? Last weekend, I was happy to see the beautiful sunshine and it warmed a little bit. Yesterday, was beautiful day too until at 3pm in the afternoon when the wind brought a cold wind. Lisa, Lance and I grilled some steak yesterday because the weather was beautiful. Lastnight it start cooling off again, I had to add more cover in our bed. And, I turned our heater this morning because I was chillin' a little bit. I was looking outside a minute ago and I'm so glad to see the sunshine right now while typing this. Indeed, it's a beautiful day again.

Web Site Hosting

Two weeks ago my sister-in-law and I went to see our cousin's new born baby. It has been a while since the last time we saw each other, so that was a good opportunity to hang out with them. Indeed, it was a great visit. We were happy to see them both, the baby and our cousin; they are fine. I can't wait to see them again this weekend at our family gathering for Easter.

Anyway, before we left their house our cousin showed us her workplace's website. She's kinda disappointed, because it looks horrible. Oh yeah, she was right...I was surprised too. Now a days, promoting your own businesses should be presentable, accessible and designed to attract more clients. We shared some ideas with her on how to make their website even better. There are some web site hosting companies that cost less and can make your website look better. All profit or non-profit organizations, like hers, should have their own website to continue maintaining the success of their businesses. If I am not mistaken, about 95% of population here in the U.S.A. use the internet to get information they need. If you are looking for an inexpensive website hosting company to host your website, go to Web Hosting Geeks. They will help you to find a better hosting company for your own business or organization. Cheap professional web hosting services under $10 a month; all webhosting plans include at least one free domain name registration and a 30 day money back guarantee.

Pretty Color

They said the most honest words you heard is from the mouth of the "babe". Last Friday, one of our friend from church came to picked us up (Emma and I). We went to the library because they have a program for kids ages 0-5 years old. They read story books, teach songs and crafts. An awesome program that the little ones to enjoy. Anyway, we got there earlier last week. So Becky parked the Van and we all came in to the library at the same time. Becky has 2 boys and little bitty girl.

I was holding Emma on my right hand and she was holding David's hand (the older boy). Daniel(younger boy) holded my left hand. I was paying attention if there's any car coming in both sides while we were walking. I made sure that the kids were intacked in my hands (full handed). Suddenly, Daniel said, this is a pretty color. I didn't know what color he meant; I told him oh so you like the color of my jacket (red)? or my purple shirt. He stopped walking for a moment and pointed the color he liked. This color, your hand color is pretty. Lol. It tickled me a little bit but we were in the middle of the crossing road. Proud to be Filipino...! Thank God for wonderful color!

Custom Printed Magnets

One of my brothers is getting married in six months from now. It's kinda difficult for both of them to prepare everything they need for the wedding, because they both work outside the Philippines. My brother works in the United Arab Emirates and his fiancée works in Saudi Arabia. How did they meet? My brother used to work in Saudi Arabia for 5 years and just last year moved to UAE. It was last year when they got engaged. When I found out about this, I told him and his fiancee that I would help by giving them some ideas about what they need to do for their wedding preparations.

First, we looked at different types of wedding invitations. I suggested that it would be great and unique to use magnets. I saw some magnetic stuff on our friend's refrigator at their house one time that said "Save the date". Oh, it was beautiful and that made me think of using them in my brother's upcoming wedding. They found it very interesting since it wasn't very common there in the Philippines. Second, I helped the bride to pick the design of her gown. Third, my brother asked me if I could sponsor our parents outfits and if I could help my mother pick out her gown design too. For now, they are almost ready. I'm so thankful, though I can not make it to their wedding, that I've at least done something that made them both happy.
Regarding, for the wedding invitations, why I only suggested the save the date magnets wedding invitations was because it could be a good souvenir for the wedding. Besides this is a great reminder that will help them not miss the important event. They can just stick it on the refrigator door and everytime they get a drink or food they will see it. This is also a great ideal for putting your great memories with your friends and loved ones. This Easter send your loveones an update about your family using the custom printed magnets at Vistaprint for a very low price.

When the Silence speaks...

I sighed! I didn't get the picture here. Wresting with my emotions droved me crazy. But, in my imperfections God showed me his power. In my weakness(es) he uplifted me and gave me new strength. I was upset of so many things that include (I, me, myself). Who am I? I pondered before the Lord. God brought me to my knees and said, "You are mine". I can't help it but to cry and cry.

I can't consoled my self. I felt alone, helpless and abandoned. I cried until the last drop of my tears. With no one else in the house but me-I had the alone moments to talk to the Lord heart to heart. I heard unknown answer...and, I continue to wrestled again. I saw myself the picture of Jacob when he was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day (Genesis 32). As the man, told Jacob to let him go...Jacob pleaded to bless him; to empower him before they separated ways. And, the man asked-what's your name? I'm Jacob, he replied. I saw the picture of "humility" before the Lord.

By saying his name...as a signed of submission. I am Jacob, worthless before the Lord. Jacob was powerless but only God sustaining him. With this picture it revived my spirit and uplifted my soul. I should put room for the Lord to speak in Silence... I will not depend in my own strength, ability, talents and so on which temporary but letting him to guide me in all my ways. An absolutely, not me but Him! So allowing God to speak in Silence makes a big different change in my life.

Finally, the Tulips bloom!

It was last year that I wanted to plant Tulips in my flower bed. Because I was not the expert about flowers I asked the opinion of my mother-in-law. She is very supportive in my ideas and she bought me a bag of Tulips bulbs, lol. I was so excited and I bury those bulb during the fall season. The weather kinda weird and I had doubt if the Tulips would grow. It was February when I saw the Tulips began to sprout. I was excited and counted them everyday. I put some fertilizers to nourished them and removed the dry leaves and weeds in my flower bed. Last week, they started to bloom and they are still blooming these days. The red Tulips dominated...I mean I planted several colors but I only saw few yellow and purple(pink) that bloom. Well, I don't mind I am just happy they finally blooming.

YAY MagNext!

What do you do for fun? Most of the time I play video games at home. I am so thankful I found a website that has the coolest game that are for free. Yes, you heard it right. I said they are free! Last week, one of my friends told me to check out some of the games she's playing now and I am hooked there now. My hubby and I play and beat each other sometimes too. I don't know if you guys heard about the MagNext? MagNext VIRTUAL is an out-of-this-world community ball, a high tech place in space built for riding and racing, bumping and battling, chatting and showing off!

What??? Yes, they feature some of the games that I'm sure even the younger kids could enjoy. Not only that, you can interact with other players. There's a space where you can greet or chat with the person you are battling with. Isn't that phenomenal? I've played this game many times and I had fun each time. When I introduced it to my hubby he tried it and he liked it too. It would be fun to invite all your friends and family to hang out in the same play room. You know as the song goes "the more we get together the happier are we". Create your account for free and enjoy your playing!

My heart cries out....

...to you my Lord! Lastnight, my hubby and I attended the concert of Chris Tomlin here in Little Rock. I heard so much about him and sang some of his song in the church. Our friend handed us the two free concert ticket last Sunday and my hubby and I took a opportunity. It was my first time on Chris Tomlin concert but my hubby had been couple times already. While I was waiting my hubby to come home yesterday, I prayed and asked God to prepare my heart and I asked to give me a heart of worship. Indeed, it was a tremendouse experience to worship God unlimitedly.

Yes, we have Praise and Worship in our church every Sunday but only in limited time. I believe you understand what I meant. I came from the church that letting the spirit move in the midst of Praise and Worship until we satisfied. Not bound of 15 minutes. I was blessed to be in Alltel arena lastnight...I had the freedom to scream for the name of the Lord. I am free to shout "Hallelujah" in a very, very loud voice. I'm free...for my God redeemed me!!! For thine is the kingdom, the glory and honor forever and ever... Amen!

Going to the Concert

I'm waiting for my hubby to come and pick me up right now. Our friend from our church gave us a free concert ticket for tonight. It is a Christian concert and I'm so excited about it. We are going to meet up some of friends at the venue itself. Opppss, sorry I forgot who's concert gonna be; my hubby got our ticket. Anyway, I pray that we will all have a great time worshiping the Lord through music. God bless you all!

Yesterday, my sister-in-law picked me up after school and we headed to see our newly born cousin. She's a beautiful baby. I'm looking forward to when she will grow up and be able to wear cute dresses or outfits. We all know it's easy to find cute and fancy outfits for girls. Beside girls clothes are not too expensive. Like the amber hagen brand that definitely gives comfort for your kids. They are elegant and they are affordable.

And, wearing name brand clothes reflects your personality like funky, trendy, hip, cutting edge and rock & roll.

Need more nap?

When we went home after church today, my hubby and I played Yathzee. After an hour I told him I need to take a nap otherwise I'll be crancky soon. Yes, I went to sleep and after an hour my hubby was fixing to go to bed with me too. I slept another 2 hours...when we got up we decided to go to the store to buy some groceries and filled up the car. It's horrible because I was still cranky...my hubby was just being nice to understand me. I guess I need some more nap to feel better. I'm thinking to go to bed early tonight though. So glad hubby picked some Singaporean noodles at Chinese restaurant to help me feel better now, lol...!

Trip to Branson!

Last tuesday, our new found married friends invited us to celebrate the birthday of the husband. That was our second time to be invited to their house in the 4 weeks that we've known each other. They are a great couple and wonderful friends to us. The wife is a filipino, that's how we started getting to know one another. Anyway, her husband's family came to celebrate his birthday and offered them a holiday trip to Branson. I was so happy for them; they needed to spend time together away with their 2 cute little kids. It made me curious about what they could do in Branson. I heard from my hubby that "Branson" is a great home of country music too. I'm sure my friend and her husband had a great time since they both love music.

I hope they are going to stay at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing because, they offer special package deals from December 2008-December 2009. There are so many things to do in Branson, you can go around the city and enjoy the many outlet malls. If you love sports do not miss the NAIA Basketball Championship, the Walmart FLW Bass Tournament; all these packages are available at Hilton Promenade on Branson Landing and HIlton Branson Convention Center Hotel. In the evening, enjoy the live music and beautiful scenery of the lighted city. This is a perfect place to spend a holiday with your whole family. Leave the stress behind and get some R and R a Hilton Bed & Breakfast weekend.

Dolphin Bubble Ring Dance

How do they do that? These dolphins where blowing air from their blow hole into a perfect underwater air ring, and it would stay underwater as long as they wanted. They would go up to the surface, get a bit of air and then dive down and blow and this perfectly symmetrical spinning bubble ring would go in front of them. Watch this video and check it out. Dolphin Bubbles is the name of the SeaWorld site. I'd really like to go to SeaWorld, it looks so fun!

Do you see how they did it? They just go up to the surface get air dip their head down dive and blow the air. And Voila! Your perfect ring of air that goes in front of them. They said one just started doing it and the others caught on. They would blow out the ring and make it smaller or spin it around and pop it if another one tried to play with it. "No, It's mine!" Lol... Sounds like hey are still like little kids even if they are adults. The females started doing it for some reason. They said that the males were busy with male social interaction. There you go, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

What was the coolest thing about the video to you? Give me a comment about it if you like. Also at the site you can leave your own bubble...

Weather, weather

Strange, very, very strange. It started warming here since weekend until yesterday. Today, the temperature goes down. We already reach 80°F and we were hopeful that was the beginning of the spring season but not quiet. We are below 40° F right now. Oh well, how strange it is only God is in control of everything. It's raining outside and the wind is blowing...Freeze!

I hate coughs

I am, I am! But the unstable weather made a lot of people sick. Oh yeah, I am one of them. I started coughing last friday...it wasn't bad that time but like everyday is getting worst. When I was inside our classroom last Saturday, I kept coughing and coughing. I survived though and got a good grade on our surprised quiz.

I was waiting for my sis-in-law to picked me up after school so I decided to wait at the bus stop. It was cold, had sleet and the wind blown. Even though it was above freezing but chilled me. To my surprised I hadn't cough even once. I guess, I have to stay in cold temperature all the time to feel it better. At night, was a big struggle cause everytime I'm about to fall sleep I started coughing hard. Dry cough sucks...!

Reconnected again

I really enjoy networking sites these days. I've met a lot of my old friends and connected with new friends as well. Technology is advancing very quickly enabling all of us to meet together in online communities. In the past, I used to talk to others in different chatrooms. I've met both men and women and they have become my good friends. The first chatmate I met in person was from Malaysia. I was in South Thailand at the time when I decided to go with my Malaysian friend to Kuala Lumpur. It was very interesting how confident I was when met her. My other friend knew her brother very well and I had no hesitation in responding to her invitation. She picked me up at the train station and brought me to her home. I stayed overnight and enjoyed meeting all her family. This week another old girl/chatmate found me on one of the networking websites. At first, I didn't recognize her; but she remembered me very well. We had a great time reconnecting since we hadn't talked to each other in a couple of years. Hopefully we will see each other again one day.

And most importantly, I met the love of my life online as well. He is a wonderful man and very special to me. Passion search is one of the most user-friendly websites I have ever visited. The site provides an overview and then helps you with registration. On each page, a guide explains exactly what to do and which buttons to push. It is like the guide is right beside you saying, "Here it is..." This website is 100% free. I repeat it's free! You could meet that special someone with whom you will spend the rest of your life. Sign up for free and search from more than 19 million members, both men and women. Check it out! That special someone could be waiting for you.

Night Vision

Just an encouragement to all of us. Sometimes there's a dim light always remember that God is with us. He will never let the righteous fall. Keep reading...it's worth.
Who is among you who... fears the Lord... yet... walks in darkness? - Isaiah 50:10 AMP

God promises us peace, but not smooth sailing or immunity from life's problems. The Bible says you can "fear the Lord... yet... walk in darkness and... trouble" (Isa 50:10 AMP). Check your Bible:

(a) Job lived an exemplary life yet he lost everything. Troubled and perplexed, he cried, "God has blocked my way [and]... plunged my path into darkness" (Job 19:8 NLT). (b) Jeremiah, after preaching to a rebellious people who beat and imprisoned him, said, "Oh, that... my eyes [were] a fountain... I would weep day and night for... my people" (Jer 9:1 NIV). (c) John the Baptist was puzzled about why his cousin Jesus, who could raise the dead, had left him to languish in prison. So he sent him a message asking, "Are You the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?" (Luke 7:19 NIV). (d) Paul suffered so much he "despaired even of life" (2 Cor 1:8 NKJV).

Faith is like film; it's developed in the dark. Dark days make us lean on God in ways we normally wouldn't. The truth is, if our faith was never tested we wouldn't be motivated to pursue God and draw closer to Him. The hymn writer wrote: "When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace. When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." It's easy to praise God when your health is good and your bills are paid. It's when light suddenly turns to darkness that we discover what our faith is made of and where our trust truly lies. It's in those seasons that we develop night vision!

Online Pay Day Loan

Start saving up while the sun is out...that shows the character of the ants. They work so hard everyday, carrying loads and bring them to their homes. Work without rest? Tough, tough, tough! On the other side it shows that they are the perfect example of stewardship and sacrifice. When the rainy season comes no one wants to get hurt or starve so it is better to stay home and have something to eat. Anyway, I'm sure many of us were not prepared for this recession period. And sometimes we cannot avoid the circumstances that may happen. Don't worry you can now get an Online Pay Day Loan. It's fast and easy. Just meet the simple requirements and your cash will be ready. Grand Prix

My hubby and I volunteered to work on Awana's club this year. It's our first year to start the cubbies class. We are teaching the 2-5 years old kids in our church about the gospel of Jesus. This will be my first year involving in Awana's club and I am having fun. This program helps the kids to understand the Bible and nurturing those kids in the love of Christ. You know teaching the little ones has more fun and a lot of challenges. They both give you joy and stress, lol.
Last night was our Grand Prix night, were the kids have race their cars and win the prizes on two categories; the best in design and speed. Racing car was the most exciting and main event of the night. Whose car going to stand out and could run fast. Screaming, cheering were so loud, so glad we had a great weather last night and we held the Grand Prix outside. Well, without any favoritism on speed category "Emma's" car won. And, on the designed one of our Cubbies kid name Jesse won too. Definitely, cubbies roles! Hehehehe. Indeed, was a successful and fabulous night to everyone last night. As Hebrews 12:1 says, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." We are looking for the Grand Prix next year..!

One more month

Are we in a recession? I watched "The Land before time" video series for children. There's one series that talks about "the cycle of life". In the movie it is said that some of the animals migrate because they had run out of food on their current place. That sort of story happens to our natural life. One of my hubby's grandmothers  told me of her time when they were in the Great Depression. The economy was horrible. They used to walk miles going to school. Indeed, those difficult and hardships they had were over when the US economy started to recover and their country became one of the most powerful nations in the world. I am saying that what we go through this now days too, it is a part of the cycle of life. We will not let the depression or recession periods defeat us. Move forward and look up on the promises of God! He can rebuild this nation once more!

Anyway, as I told you before that my hubby and I are still paying our credit cards. Finally, one more month left on our payments. I repeat one more month left on our payment! Woo Hoo!!! thank you Jesus! How did we owe so much on the credit cards? Not me...my hubby, lol. Actually, he spent some of that money to process my papers to come over here. He asked to get credit card help and he got into a credit counseling program. It helped him a lot, especially by paying off the credit cards at a very low interest rate. Need some help to get out of debt? CareOne Credit CounselingSM services lead the industry in helping people get out of debt the smart way. I'll advise you to go for it. I am so glad that my hubby was in a credit counseling plan to pay off his debts, because he was able to pay lower monthly payments and he learned not to over use his credit cards too. Oh, what a debt relief after next month!

Contentment

I had struggled in the past couple days about being "content" or being satisfied. I am not saying that I am not happy of what I have or what I am right now but there are time that I wanted more. If you haven't this problem in your life, so you are fortunate. I hate when somebody compare me to someone else but I had down in my heart to compare myself to them. I asked my husband if he knew he has so many talents and smart person? He simply said, I could not see myself but other would tell me like you. Too difficult to figure who we are unless somebody would tell us of who we are. Contentment, is the neuro-physiological experience of satisfaction and being at ease in one's situation, bodymind. I learned that unless I submitted myself to the Lord, I could not have the contentment.

File Extension Library

I used to work at a Mission Agency when I was in Philippines. I had an opportunity to help set up our Mission library. The hardest part of working on the library was sorting the books into their own categories. No of us were experts and knew how to started, but we made our own system that made it easier. How do we find the book that we want? My husband always borrows books about electronics, gadgets and other things from the public library here. To find the item you want, use the File Extension. File extension is that portion at the end of a filename (suffix) that describes its file type. The file extension can be from one to several characters long and can be usually identified easily since the filename and its extension are separated by a “.” like for example “computer.jpg”

The Valentine's evening

My hubby and I didn't made any fancy plan for Valentine's day. I didn't ask any gifts from him too. Sending me to school is enough and that matters to me. Of course, he bought me a dozen of roses to made it extra special. I got him 2 boxes of chocolate because he love chocolates. Then, we went to church that evening to attend the dance party. We both had a great time.

I could not believe but I was dancing the whole time with the other ladies in the room. My hubby danced me with the slow dance. He said that was the only type of dance he knew, lol. Well, I am okay for that.

Dad at 13

Poor kids they turn parents at very early age. Alfie Patten was 12 years old when he impregnant his 14 years old girlfriend. As I read the story, they are both like mature people. Never thought of abortion or giving away their child. Instead, they told the press to raise their child the best they can. Police and child services in Eastbourne, in southeast England, said in a statement that they were "aware of a 14-year-old girl that had become pregnant as the result of a relationship with a 12-year-old boy," adding that they were offering support to both young people. Read the story here .

Cheap TVs

The other day, my friend and I were talking about filing our income tax. I told her my hubby and I are still working on ours. She said they had already submitted theirs to IRS. I was at surprised how much of a refund they are going to receive in a couple of weeks. Well, only her husband works and they have 4 dependents, so that makes sense. I don't know how they are going to spend their IRS refund money this year, but last year they purchased a flat screen tv. She said, they got it at a very reasonable price. Savebucket.com is an excellent place to find great online prices for digital tvs. Are you looking for the best tvs on sale? They have great prices on lcd tvs, projectors, Home Cinema Systems and Plasma TVs. When you have money, this is the best time to buy those gadgets you've been wanting. Please visit Savebucket.com and purchase the item you like at a very discounted price.

Valentine's plan

Well, well, well no special plan tomorrow except I'll be in school taking my exam. I guess my teacher made sure she has her students on this day that's why our exam fall on this date. That's very clever of her-hehehe. I had no plan to skip classes though. I didn't ask sny special gifts from my husband. Sending me to school is totally enough. But tomorrow evening our Church has special party for all of us, there we going to spend the rest of our Valentines' day.

Career opportunities

Because of the downfall of our economy there are some employees had been cut off their job. I was sad hearing different stories of those people losing their job. They have family to raise and morgages to pay. Hope our economy can recover and open new oppornuties to all job seekers. The abc-exchange.com provide a comfortable service both for people looking for a legal part-time job and those interested in safe online shopping. So far, this is the site that I found who offer career opportunities. Check them out!

2-years old Joke

Honestly, the new generations are smarter than my generations...true or false? Lol. According to the study the younger generation are getting smarter and smarter. One Sunday last year, it was my schedule to assists in the nursery in our church and we have this 3 years old girl who amused us with her maturity. My co-worker and I thought she was 5-6 years already but when we asked her grandmother about her age she was only 3. But anyway, I babysit our friend's daughter most of the time and she cracked me up with her silliness. Here's her joke- I don't know if it's a joke for most of the grown up, lol.
Emma: Knock, knock
Me: Who's there?
Emma: Emma!
Me: Emma's who?
Emma:Emma Poyyyyynnnnner! (That's her first name and last name).
I never expected that she only said her name though.

Don't you wish got a husband like mine?

...don't you? When my hubby fetch me from school I told him to stopby at Burger King and pick up something to eat. I was hungry after the class and I could not wait until we get home. I told him I'll pay for our lunch since I didn't spend my allowance that my parents-in-law gave me 2 weeks ago. After we got our food; we ate it on the way home.

He dropped me off to the house and went back to his music practice to our friend's house. When I went to the living room thinking to do some cleaning because we have great Aunt that coming this afternoon; I noticed that everything was in place and organize. Even the kitchen looks good too. Wow, my husband did the cleaning after he dropped me off to the school this morning. Isn' that great? I called him and thanking him of the great job he done in the house.

This morning I rebooted my computer because it moved very slowly. To my surprise it scanned itself; I was worried and thought my computer was broken. I waited to see what the instructions said. Now that I'm in school, my family and friends ask me how's school so far. I love it! School is more exciting and serious when you take at this age. I meant I become more determine and strive hard to achieve what I want to be. I enjoyed the challenge and doing my homework at home.

I felt bad if I could not finish my homework on the next day after was given. I could not get good sleep and had a dream about it. whew! Anyway, I'm doing my best I could to earn scholarships here. Tuitions fee is very expensive if I have a scholarship that helps us a lot to save up money for my education.

Pancakes obsessions?

Are we? Lol. I posted 2 weeks ago that my hubby and I went out and ate pancakes late ate night at IHOP. After then, we always long to eat pancakes. We bought all the ingredients we needed and we made our own. Since then, we both loving the pancakes more and more. Not only that we had pancakes in the morning and we still make pancakes in the evening too.

Sometimes, my sister-in-law asked you don't have pancakes today. My hubby and I said we just had...what? to her surprised. I guess, we have addiction to pancakes now, lol. Not bad though it cost less to make our own.

Superbowl XLIII

While the people of America were busy about having a Superbowl party with friends and family yesterday my hubby and I chose to stay home and took a nap. Yeah, my hubby not into football games. The only time he watch superbowl when our friends invited us. I was glad that we didn't go anywhere yesterday. After the nap we cleaned the house then I start working on my homework again this week.

Whew! I'm so glad I started my homework last night. I worried a little bit thought our class started to be completed. I wrestle with my mind the basic equation until I begin my homework. So far everything works great- I balanced and I did it very easy. I tried to explain to my husband how I did it but he found it difficult. In accounting, it seems complicated but if you stake on the basic equation(Assets=Liabilities+Equity); you will not getlost. That's what I learn in 2 weeks of our class. I get more interested and loving the accounting.

Custom Embroidery

When I was in Thailand, I was surprised to see that the elementary and high school students didn't wear school IDs. I asked my Thai friend about it and she said their school uniforms have their names and the school’s name embroidered on them. Well, I didn't know how to read Thai at that time so that was the reason I didn't know what was on the student shirts. Using embroidered names and logos was a neat idea, because when using ID cards there is the possibility of losing them. Anyway, if your company is looking for a place where they can buy custom embroidery on a wide range of items including t-shirts, polo shirts, button-down shirts, long sleeve shirts, hats, shorts and bags, then Threadsmith.com is the place for you. You can make your own design and upload the logo to see what it would look like as custom embroidery. Visit Threadsmith.com to see more details.

Bad Ice Storm

When my hubby check the weather a minute ago, he spotted the news headlines. It said bad ice storm causes death of 3 people. One of the incedent was an old lady drove her car and slid. That throw her body out of the car. It wasn't easy to drive in the wet or slippery road. We could hardly get a snow or ice here so our car tire's doesn't have snow tires. I always reminded my hubby to watch the weather and do extra careful when he driving back and forth. He has to cross the bigger bridge here in Little going to work everyday. When you are somewhere today, be careful!

Death by Starvation

Lately, the media keeps talking about financial crisis all over the world. Many people died because of starvation. Like the country of Africa; they don't have enough food or water to drink. They have no place to live or clothes to wear. This is real...and it has been real for a long, long time.

Have you heard about holodomor? According to Wikipedia, the Holodomor is a Ukrainian word that has the meaning of death by starvation. The famine was caused by the food requisition actions carried out by Soviet authorities. The Holodomor is considered one of the greatest national catastrophes to affect the Ukrainian nation in modern history where millions of inhabitants of Ukraine died of starvation in an unprecedented peacetime catastrophe. Is that something? Many numbers of innocent died during this time. The saddest was some Ukrainian politicians, including Viktor Yuschenko, have recently argued that the famine may have been designed as an attack on Ukraine, and therefore, should fall under the legal definition of genocide. I don't know the whole story about this, but if this is the truth I pity them, especially the children. My prayers are that God will intervene in the midst of them and give them freedom from famine, starvation and even given them peace!

Making Financial Statement

On the first day of my class last Saturday our teacher gave us tones of homework to do this week. Yes, lots of homework. Anyway, when I got home I started making my homework until last night. I was on the solving the problem lastnight and I didn't finish because kinda late and was our bedtime.

While I was slepping last night I kept dreaming about making my financial statement. Whew, I woke up to realized it was only a dream. Hope I will finish my homework today- I'll try to follow that I did in my dreams. Who knows that was the real answer-right?

Equestrian Cupid

It has been almost 5 years since the first time my hubby and I met online. Yes, we met on one of those dating sites. It started in my curiosity. I had met several friends online and hearing their testimonies on how they met their husbands online. I wanted to prove that this could be possible and real. How can we know if the people we communicate with are honest to what they say? To be honest I talked to a lot of men online; in fact I had a good friend for a couple of years. Talking to him was nice, but deep inside my heart I could not trust him. He had something inside of him that I didn't understand and it made me very uneasy. When I decided not to talk to him at all I felt such a peace inside me. It was a relief! How about my hubby? When my hubby found me on the dating site we exchanged emails and information. I felt his sincerity as he offered his friendship to me and I did the same. We exchanged ideas, shared thoughts and he introduced me to his sister on the day we met. With those actions he showed enough to lead me to give him my trust. For almost a year, we realized that we had both fallen in love and didn’t want to let each other get away. We met and we got married right away.

Love is in the air. Don't get lonesome. You can meet someone who shares your interests. If you love horses, here is a very accommodating dating site called EquestrianCupid. EquestrianCupid is an exclusive community for horse lovers and equestrian cupids to meet horseback riding buddies, discover uncharted trails, pursue the country lifestyle, locate the best riding areas , and meet someone to share your country pursuits. Over the years they have achieved tremendous success. This is your chance to meet someone you are longing for; this is a FREE sign-up!

Help In Tight Places!

God is our refuge and strength. - Psalm 46:1 NAS
Who am I in the sight of my creator? Yesterday, when I came home from school I had a little pressures for all the homeworks that our accounting teacher gave us. I didn't have a book to follow her lecture yesterday so I had a hard time understanding everything she said. Anyway, I bought my book after class and started doing my homework lastnight. I got frustrated but I kept going. Finally, after awhile I understand and everything go smoothly. I thank the Lord for my hubby who patiently accompany me learning my accounting.
I read my devotional this morning from The Word For Today by Bob Gass: We live in a troubled world. Natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina, 9/11, tsunamis, wars, the mortgage crisis and soaring petrol prices have tapped the roots of our anxiety. Every night the media invades our homes bringing it all to us in real time, exposing us to a new phenomenon called 'compassion fatigue'. Modern-day psychiatrists identify the helplessness, stress, vulnerability and depression we feel watching and wondering, "What if we are next to be targeted by terrorists or slammed by forces of nature? Who will protect us?"

To the fearful in heart, the Bible says three things: (1) "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps 46:1 NAS). The margin of the New American Standard Bible renders this last phrase, "Abundantly available for help in tight places." Isn't that great! When you're in a tight spot, God is abundantly available to help you. Notice, it doesn't say that God will help you occasionally or reluctantly. No, He will do it abundantly and faithfully. What more do you need? (2) "Therefore we will not fear" (v.2 NIV). You needn't panic, talk defeat, or give in to despair. The songwriter said, "He's as close as the mention of His name." Just breathe His name in prayer, and He'll be there for you. (3) "Let the oceans roar...Let the mountains tremble" (v.3 NLT). When everything you once thought to be stable and dependable is threatened and shaken to the core - you will be where you have always been - in the strong and loving arms of God; the One who is "abundantly available to help in tight places".

Why we fear...God is in control of everything!

Stem Cell Collection:New Year's Resolution

What are your New Year's resolutions? When I was in high school many years ago, every first day of class every after New Year’s Day our teacher would give us this assignment. Huh? I guess, I fulfilled some of my New Year's resolutions, because I would not be the person right now without doing those good things that would help make me the person I desired to be. You know when we write our New Year's resolutions we write all positive things. Did you write New Year's resolution for this year? I wrote a few...didn't you? Well, that's alright. Anytime of the year we can always make yearly resolutions. I'll suggest for women to be resolute about taking care of their health and future into their own hands. You can now easily do so with C’elle.

If you don't know about C'elle. C'elle is an exclusive and revolutionary service that provides women with the unique opportunity to collect and preserve vital stem cells that can be collected from the body's menstrual fluid during the menstrual cycle. I was amused when I found about this and I highly recommend to all women out there. Not only that, the latest science has revealed that stem cells collected from a woman’s own menstrual blood may be used in treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. How cool is that? Not only one person can benefit, but this could help to cure serious illness of your loved ones.
