That was our topic during our bible study yesterday. Helping others that mean that we will provide their financial needs only? Not only that, we can extend help emotionally, mentally and ablove helping them spiritually too. Listening to them when they need somebody to listen to. When they need advice, give them a good advice! When the are lost guide them show them compassion like what Jesus did.
Do not expect any return when you help somebody. As a Filipino we have the phrase called "Lutang na loob". Which not applicable in all circumstances. Helping others meaning, out of love and great compassion. Doing it all to glorify God and edify others. One of the best example of helping other will be found in Luke 10:25-The Parable of the good Samaritan.
